The local toy shop I go to will do that for themselves. They already did the exchange. Opened it up there too. Again with a slightly longer right leg. Not too bad though so I was able to work with it.

I have to say, Unmasked Scar Predator is the best Neca Figure yet as far as details and paint go. I would LOVE to see this in 18".

Ok maybe they are a tad too yellow, big deal. They are only $20. It's not like we are paying $200+ for them. An simple repaint would be all it needs. But it's not that big of a deal to me. And yes I have them in hand. I was one of the very first few to have them in hand.
True they may not be exactly screen accurate but man are these things beauties. And since when are any Neca figures painted screen accurate? lol

I have no problems with them nor did anyone else until he brought up the too yellow comment.... But its an simple repaint like it would be that hard... But not even worth the hassle IMO.

Picked up my AVP figures today!! These NECA figures are creeping up in price $31.95 CAN each. That's over $100 boys on three figures. DAMN! They used to be affordable enough to pick up two of each (one to open and one to keep MOC). As I don't like 7" scale figures displayed these will remain MOC and packed away soon. Next up.....NECA Bat Gremlin!!

That's the dealer raising the price, the figures are the exact same price as every previous wave everywhere here in the US that I've seen them. $17.99-21.99 is what I've seen online, it sucks that some retailers like to screw their customers because they haven't any alternative.

It's not the dealer it's the exchange rate. I purchase from TOY TRADERS with most of my figure needs and even the owner has said that his hands are tide. Last waves of NECA ALIENS are selling for about $30 as well. Even the other local stores prices for NECA are in the same price point. One will only carry NECA for special
Orders. If you can believe it TRU CANADA has those Alien eggs for $39.99 and Terminator Genisys figures for $35.99 (which TOY TRADERS sell for $29) it's just the price we ha e to pay now folks. And I have a rule of thumb with NECA.....never buy online. You need to filter through the figures on the peg to get the best one!!!

I agree. It's nice to pick your own from a selection.

I think $20 (here in the US) for the Predator figures is a steal for the quality we get. I don't know how Neca makes a profit.

My Toys R Us had them in stock.... They were in the Marvel section with wrong price tags for some reason. I was going to stick with just the Scar that I ordered online, but ended up getting the Celtic and Chopper. They're just so damn good.

They are very awesome indeed. I can't wait to see what other pred variants they do after series 15. Battle damaged Celtic. Closed mouth scar with removed bomb. Ancient Predator with alien head on spear. Elder predator.

I have both McFarlane series one and play set Series 2 of the AVP line, but I must say having a official Chopper figure in my collection is a huge "checkmark" on my want list!! Even though I will not be having the out of box experience with these figures I am very happy!

There is a box that is still waiting to be ticked and that one belongs to the "New Born" alien. One of the best creature designs in the Alien/Predator universe.

Can you post comparison pics to the McFarlane figs? I used to have them a long time ago, and remember loving them when they came out (especially after repainting them). How do they compare in your opinion?

The loose McFarlane I sold years ago. The MOC McFarlane I have stores away. Both Neca and McF are so many many years apart that I don’t think they are even worth comparing. I enjoyed and enjoying them both because they are from different times!!! :)

Good point! I still have a bunch of McFarlane Spawn figures, and most look just as great as they did when they came out. But agree, some have aged poorly even though I did enjoy them at the time they came out.QUOTE=Bo Shrek;8359834]The loose McFarlane I sold years ago. The MOC McFarlane I have stores away. Yeah, it really isn't fair to compare them. At the time they were cutting edge and unlike anything we had seen. I've never understood why some are so quick to bash them instead of appreciate them as trail blazers. If the stuff created 10+ years later wasn't actually better, then THAT would be the travesty worthy of criticism.
