Just completed Season of Infamy a few hours ago. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Love all the villains in it and in some cases, enjoyed it more than AK.

Wow, I keep hearing that everywhere. I always felt the worst thing about AK aren't the overused Batmobile nor the ending, but rather the lack of villains and those who are in it have nothing much to do (try replacing Two Face and Penguin with anyone, it would still work). I can't wait to play this later after work!!

I tried the new skins out last night, they're sharp. I like the Noel suit a lot. I'll try out Infamy tonight.

Played through freeze's side mission last night. Thought it was pretty damn good. I've been playing with with a Batman movie playlist on the ps4 rather then the game's soundtrack and it really makes it a whole new experience.

Yep, that's exactly why I passed on the season pass. I have no interest in all the other stuff. Just wanted season of infamy and was happy saving the extra $30.

This is actually the one game I'm glad I bought the season pass for. A lot of people complain that it isn't worth it but if you do the math, and I did, buying everything; skins, map packs, race tracks, Arkham Episodes and now Season of Infamy, all things I would have wanted anyway because with these games I just like having everything so I can play through the whole experience and change costumes and skins to my liking, it would have ran me almost $50 ala carte. So in a way, I saved almost $10 buying the pass. Which is fine with me.

This game to me wasn't the best in the series, but It was still a damn good game. The visuals, gameplay and soundtrack are what I've come to expect from the series even if the story wasn't the best I the series and some of the gameplay modes were a little harder to get used than normal. I still rate this as one of my favorite games of the year, easily and probably one of the better games of the last 10 years, as were all the games in the series.

I give it a solid 9/10 after playing through everything and all 6 months worth of DLC.

I'll spend the next little while trying to get any of the Achievements I missed, I'll try to drag out saying good bye to the Arkhamverse as long as I can, since we don't really know what we're getting next from WB Games Montreal or if what Telltale is going to deliver will in anyway measure up.

Yeah I have a feeling they're not really done with the Bat yet, Arkham verse maybe but I can see a return. I would totally rate this as one of my favorite games this year too, some disappointments but not enough to really kill the game.

Yeah, I can say, my 2nd playthrough...it got much better. Specially playing it with Batfleck skin.
The first playthrough for me gave me a bad first impression. It was a barely 7 out of 10.
2nd playthough...I enjoyed it a lot more and give it about 8.5.

It might be since you know what to expect and will have different feelings, like how it came to the titular Arkham Knight himself, and probably the tank battles. Plus since you will have more gadgets and abilities this time, you can experiment more!

That's all good josh. I'm glad you enjoyed the entire season pass. I just had no interest in all the other stuff. I just wanted season of infamy and I was more than happy to drop the $9.99 for it. I greatly enjoyed seeing some big name Bats villains and had a blast playing it. While this wasn't my favorite Arkham game, I did enjoy everything but the overuse of the batmobile and the ending. For me it was about a 7.5/10. Looking forward to the next Bat game regardless of who's releasing it. Although, I wouldn't mind if WB Montreal continued their version of the Arkham-verse. I really enjoyed playing AO.

Is the season of Infamy add on accessible through the regular game, such as are they just added characters you need to bring down to get to access the Knightfall protocal or do you need to go to the extras menu to access the new story which in turn doesn't interact with the main game.

The one thing I do like about NG+ is that you don't need to get the riddler trophies again. I was playing it last night, man the Man Bat gets me every ****ing time lol

For me personally, the overused batmobile and ending were the worst thing about AK (along with AK's real identity). I agree with you though, some of the villains certainly were C list at best. That's a major reason I liked season of infamy. 3 of the 4 villains were pretty big time IMO. Croc, Ra's, and Freeze are favorites of mine. Can't say I was ever much of a Hatter fan though. I just liked infamy because I really liked seeing Bats interact with this cast of villains. It was fun seeing them again before rocksteady possibly signed off of the Arkham games for good. It tied everything up nicely for me.

I think you're right. The things that were supposed to suprise you in this game turned out to be lackluster, so inital impressions were less to be desired.
But once you know what to expect, and just enjoy the gameplay...specially playing with the new skins...it was a much better experience.
It didnt help that I wasnt overly fond of the new Ironman inspired batsuit, so playing it with the batfleck suit made it more fun.

I just finished Season of Infamy, and I think this was a nice cherry on top of the DLC, the game itself, and the entire series. It wasn't too frustratingly hard at all, and it was a true joy to play. I loved the creative recap of the series through Mad Hatter's "storybook" -- the Mad Hatter and Scarecrow levels in this series always had a great visual style -- it was always nice to see Batman take a break from his reality. I loved the classic moral dilemma in the Ra's story -- and that they let the player choose -- and possibly feel regret for their choice. The Mr. Freeze story was beautiful and tragic -- but the ending was still good -- or bittersweet, and it tied up his arc nicely from Arkham City (or all the way "back" to AO Cold, Cold, Heart if you count that). That last tank battle had me annoyed for a minute, when it seemed like they were endless. The Croc story was the least interesting for me visually or story-wise, but it was nice to team up with Nightwing again. I played the entire Season of Infamy in the Bale suit, -- and with the Tumbler as much as allowed -- and that was fun (a little weird to hear my favorite Batman voice coming from my favorite live action look of Batman).

Overall -- despite the stumbles, RockSteady did a great job with this series, this game, and the DLC. There's an understanding of the characters, and so much attention to detail and fun little asides in these games. You could tell they put a lot of heart into it. They've created -- hands down -- the best Batman video game series ever -- and hopefully whoever or whatever comes next recognizes how high the bar is now set and at least matches this quality.

I'm "only" 120% done, but I'm very satisfied with the entire experience. Eventually I'll get to 240%, but now I'll just pick it up for fun once in a while, not out of some compulsion to beat it. Going to take my sweet time, maybe replay the entire series in story order.

I just finished the Season of Infamy and without spoiling anything, it's pretty good! There was action, humor and sadness all in 4 missions. It definitely tied up some loose ends from AA and AC and add some weight to the overall AK experience- definitely should be considered part of the main game and worth the price of admission.

I played some last night, and I like it so far. I've only done Mad Hatter and Killer Croc so far.

Indeed. There are some story moments that were good but they were far and between.

I still don't get the batsuit hate, beats that **** from Origin's some tie-in comic I read yesterday mentioned that Batman hated that thing or something.
