Favorite Terminator Films

The end of T2 closed the story , it was a perfect end top what should have only been 2 movies but T3 fuct that up by trying that "its not over yet" ending and thus ruining the legacy of Cameron's original idea.

I try to see T-3 as a seperate movie.

I laugh at your faux logic. And if one has a monotone voice, it would make sense for it to seem like a foreigner who barely knows English. Plus, he was on read only. i laugh at your use of the word "faux", and your phony abject indignation towards me disagreeing about a damn terminator thread.
me arguing my point of view isn't "harsh", if anything it's funny.

now, in T2 he said he was a "luurning compootah", which i can only assume means "learning computer".
and computers that can acquire and interpret new information and extrapolate new data and behaviors from the new information (also known as learning) are definitely not read only.
by definition, learing would require reading AND writing to/from a storage medium.
so then WHY send an infiltrator back with an austrian accent already programed in?
wouldn't it make more sense to not give it any accent and have it learn to speak like people it observes?
think about it.

clearly, Cameron didn't have the artistic vision to not end both movies with the same cliche, or know better than to have a machine die giving the old thumbs up.

terminator movies are action/scifi flicks that are mostly comprised of every action movie cliche imaginable.
so, don't go trying to convince people that Cameron was trying to create an art film instead of cashing in on a profitable genre.
i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, Cameron is damn good at making action flicks.
but, i think you're trying too hard to add substance that really isn't there just to prove your point.

I'm not trying to argue with you or get a point across? Just saying Cameron's Terminator legacy ended at T2 and he always said that and never wanted to cash in by making T3. This to many of us is the true Terminator story as intended by the true creator. Again, I'm not challenging you.

this is lame. how anyone can be any kind of terminator fan and not like T1 or T2 is beyond me. i can see if someone hated the entire terminator franchise, but to prefer T3 over the originals is just criminal. it feels like im stuck in bizarro world or something.

T1, seminal classic, copied many, many times, flawed (that score at times...why?) but a fantastic bit of 80's cinema nonetheless!
T2 and T3, I can think of worse ways to spend a couple of hours, I kinda enjoyed both for seperate reasons, but they were both a bit meh!

prefused, didn't you know that Terminator is based on a short story by Austrian writer Hans Grubber?... ok not really. But the images of a "burning earth" have been over done. It's boring to see some stupid special effects. AND the clichés you speak of are clichés BECAUSE of Terminator!

Besides the endings of the first two are smart and not dulled down with WOOOO SPECIAL FX!!!!!

And no matter what you say, 98% of people on this forum with agree, Arnold rules!

As of T4 ive heard that Christian Bale is going to play John Connor. So the movie has to be good, since i doubt that Bale will play in lame`O movies.

he didn't exactly say "i'll be back" it was more like "AL BE BOCK" because T-800's speak english with an austrian accent for no reason.

i liked T3 just fine, everybody just complains about it because they don't like change.
just wait for T4... no arnold.
and it'll be the best Terminator ever.

i liked them when i was a kid, but now they're almost unwatchable.
there sure are some cool toys from them, though.

I don't get why people think that Fanboy-Wet-Dream Bale, makes this film automatically good. He has been in lame movies before such as a Reign of Fire and just cos that was in the past doesnt mean he is immune from ever making a bad film ever again.
