Great to see another HT car....like the 66' Batmobile and Delorean. OOHH!!!

Too soon?

I think a lot of these new movies have a shelf life. They're pumping out comic book movies like no tomorrow these days and I think because of that, people will have short attention spans.

The '66 will always have an audience because it's been popular for decades, the BvS Batmobile will be probably short lived and redesigned for the next upcoming Batman film. By the time it comes to this being released, I wouldn't be surprised if people end up changing their minds because there will be some other figure they have their eye on.

i think its all a matter of taste really. The movie may bomb and you can still love the look of the vehicle and be a favourite batmobile design because its just that a vehicle. It doesn't represent the plot of a movie or anything like that. For that reason i think people will still pick it up regardless of how well the movie does or if as you say other figures come out. Its just a badass design for a vehicle and thats really all that matters to some people. Batman forver isn't a great movie but some people (including myself) still love the design of the batmobile from that movie and would pick up a 1/6 or even 1/18th scale version of that car if it came out even after 20 years since the movie came out. Its not about the movie for me but the vehicle itself. I just like the design.

For me personally it's just going to be a matter of there are three HT Batman figures and a Batsignal coming out, all at the same time more than likely, that I'm going to have to pre-order and I won't have the funds to get all three, a Batmobile, and eat anything other than Ramen.

As far as them doing a '66, we'll have to see. I'm 26 and love Batman, but the '66 doesn't really hold anything for me. I got the 1/6 Bats just because I got an absurd deal on one. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have bothered.

If they released it, for fact it would sell out. Just a matter as to whether or not HT wants to.

Isn't Hulkbuster $800? I guess it's a new seeing or whatever, but this seems to be even more intricate and better designed. And more electronics too.

Add the shipping and you are looking at near 1K for this monster.

Remember that POS 1/12 Bat was $800+.

66 batmobile is iconic and a classic that has remained popular for near 50 years. Not many vehicles in TV and movie history can claim that, especially the tumbler, or BvS batmobile. It just won't. 66 batmobile transcends generations. It is what it is. Regardless of your viewpoint of the 66, you can not dispute that.

So wait, does the car transform into the flying bat? Sure looks like it.

We MUST hope for the Batman vs Superman Hot Toys exclusive to sell out ..

Smart ass much? Can't handle a debate can you? Did not know you were setting the rules on what can be discussed. I get it you don't like the 66. I hate blank heads like you . Grow up.

So I just realized this Batmobile is even longer than the Tim Burton version. 43 vs 39 inches. And the Tumbler is only 29 inches. I want to buy one, but I couldn't even find a place for the Burton version in my apartment. Anyone else have that dilemma?

I did, so I bought a condo. Still, that thing was not made for condo living either, just couldn't find a way to display it the way it's meant to. So I sold it locally for retail.

Wow, that's a long son of a *****. And what about it's width? It looked quite wide on display at Toy Soul. If it's wider than the Tumbler it's probably gonna be a no-go for me based on where I could potentially display it between my '89 and Tumbler.

Budget Stark said it was 2 feet wide.

Just checked the specs and the movie car is 12 feet wide so 2 feet should be right

Yeah, I just looked it up and saw the same. 43" x 24"? That's ridiculously huge for my batcave.

This is one big mutha.

I wish they would of had a remote control for the 89' Batmobile... would of been sweet to push a button and have the cockpit open up and be able to turn the lights on and off...
