Money shot right there JayPesoz :yess:

Is there padding inside Vader?

I didn't remove his leather suit -- but removing that extra padding might make getting to the switch easier as well as making not look quite so... thick.

When I put the batteries in the back there's two layers. The underneath layer must be padding because he has that paunch. He has a squishy in his tummy. :lol

Oh yeah, that must be it. I wonder how he'd look without that pajama? Vader didn't really have a paunch. Rather give that suit to Ben.

He didn't, but when I saw it I thought it looked right anyway. When he's got the belt and chest box on it isn't so prominent, but it does give him 'weight', which is a good thing after looking at the SS ROTJ for so long.

I sorted Obi-Wan's paunch by wrapping material round his abdomen.

Anyone pick this guy up who also has the Sideshow Deluxe Vader? I'd love to see some side by side comparisons. I have the Sideshow deluxe version and I'm on the fence as to if its really worth getting this one. Kind of seems like where one has strengths the other has the weakness, like a balanced trade off.

Does it look like a to-scale head could fit underneath that helmet? At some angles it appears slightly underscaled but that could be just lens distortion.

yeah. He would have to have a strangely horizontal shaped head for it to fit in that mask.
