Was at a TRU yesterday and they had 4 of each figure but the boxers were damaged badly and the emblem on all the Superman figures were painted horribly.

I'm still trying to get my replacement but the CS guy is high or something and keep asking me the same thing over and over so I know my figure wasn't shipped out.

I actually just received my replacement figure today in the mail. The replacement (or at least the one I got) is not in the packaging, it is just loose and was sent in a bubble-lined envelope mailer.

The paint Job is OK, but no breakages or anything.

Yes, they are doing replacements for all of them.

My TRU had 5 each of Joker and Adam West Batman.

I picked the best looking Joker and ended up with a figure that has two left shins and sticky pants.

The quality of the Batman figures ranged from **** to mega ****.

NECA's CS came through! Received my broken Superman replacement in the mail today. Like the above poster, it came in a bubble mailer. Has decent paint, certainly better than my original so I'm not going to complain.

The cape on superman is kind of jacked up though, is there any way to take it out and put it back in or is it glued in?

Got back home from the holidays, and received a CRS replacement from Neca

The joints are easier and more flexible but still secure so no floppiness

Interesting, maybe it's just mine but there is absolutely no more ab crunch or torso articulation anymore, trust me I heated it up many ways and it is solid almost glued but I'm betting it's one part now.

Maybe unless mine is a fluke, that part of issues with the leg breakage is the lower half of the figures design, maybe these replacements have put more solid simple but limiting joints on the lower half. For those who have received a Neca replacement let me know if you can move, twist or ab crunch yours, if you can then I need to contact Neca CS and let them know

Now when you are talking about the lack of movement aside from the ab-crunch, do you mean the waist as well where the blue shirt meets the belt and "shorts"? mine still twists and moves at that joint, and it's hard to tell if the ab-crunch still works, but when I try it, the shirt rubber does bunch up a little in the front, so it seems like I'm getting movement there. As far as the waist goes, both the torso and waist are made of 2 parts, the rubber overlay for the shirt and shorts, and the plastic under-structure that holds the joints. It's possible the rubber is glues or frozen somehow, or the joints are really frozen tight.

I don't think that they re-tooled the figure in any way, from what I have read from Randy on twitter, the thing that was causing the issues was an injection molding error. The plastic they use now for the joints is the same as before, but now that the error has been fixed, the plastic is as durable as it should be.

Hmm..thanks, I think I'll contact CS, no matter what I can't get my replacement to twist at the waist at all like the others I tried heat and other techniques

It does move forward a little. But it's so minimal I doubt they'd care after sending you a replacement figure already. Mine has a messed up cape where the right side wasn't inserted into the shirt correctly. I'm just going to try and fix it myself somehow.
