Are any of you really bothered with how under-scaled this is? I don't plan on displaying this with any other 1/4 statues, it was always my plan for this to be in a Pinhead-only display, but if it's noticeably smaller than 1/4 scale it's going to be very annoying.

I will proudly be displaying mine next to my Darkness PF. Anything looks small next to him so I could care less. Lol. From the pictures and measurements I've seen Pinhead looks perfectly scaled to me so I really don't have any problems with it. Just can't wait to get him already!!

Was there something to click when you followed the SS link talking about agreeing to early processing? The link brought me to my order page but I didn't see anything else to do at that point. I ask because I didn't get charged yesterday like the email said I would.

SS sent a email asking for your request to send next day or not. Then you click the link if you want it early. So some is saying he's smaller than 1/4? Is he the same exact size as at least freddy? I want to display them together.

Yeah, I clicked that link but I didn't get any kind of message confirming it would be shipped early at that point

It was a link that you click on and that's it. Nothing else was required. It automaticlly said confirm and will ship next day. There was no need to enter anything or type anything else. Check you account to see if it's shipped. If not call ss to maybe have them do it. Errr yes it's the weekend and you know ss doesn't work on weekends.

He isn't underscaled. He is 44.5 cm tall minus the pins. Doug Bradley is 180 cm tall so it's like 1/2 a cm out of scale. I do think however that the head is a bit small, but as a 1:4 scale piece he's fine - in fact taller than the Tarkin PF when if fact Peter Cushing is a touch taller than Doug Bradley.
The main size issue with this piece is Sideshows design department's inability to make consistent height bases across any line they produce whatsoever. When you put Pinhead on a base that's nearly an inch lower than behemoths like Jason or Leatherface (who Sideshow also take artistic licence on the height of - Jason is 5 cm taller than he should be so he is waaay over scale) he's going to look small.

Arriving the 18th. I'm displaying mine with the Myers statue for now. Then when the PCS AWIL statue shows up, the three will be displayed together on one shelf. Can't wait for this. It's my grail. I still can't believe Sideshow produced it.

I'm Curious as to how big he is next to freddy Krueger? Is the head tiny like a 1/5 statue?

Alright. Thanks for the info.

Yes there is a lot of a detail on all the important areas on this piece but I still can't get over how they didn't add blue high lights throughout the black leather area's on the torso part. I mean even the Neca figure (which is 15 years old) has blue high lights on the torso. But that is my only nit pick with this statue.
The costume only ever had blue highlights when he was standing in blue lighting because the material was reflective. If you've ever seen the costume in standard lighting it is just plain black.

So I'm glad the didn't add in lighting highlights.

Regardless, it looks too plane, if it wasn't for the realistic head sculpt and paint job on the flesh areas this would look like a cheap toy. There should be different tones throughout the leather, not just plane black.

I guess opinions will vary. The neca one, which I had for a short time, to me, looked and felt like a cheap toy. This to me is so much better all around.

No I agree, it's just nit picking, I would prefer something that looks like it came right out of the film and don't think for a second that I think this looks more like a toy than the Neca one. I just think they could have added some tones to the torso because it just looks too plane for my taste but each to their own.

Well, look at it this way, since the seemed to have used a semigloss on the black torso, to mimic the leather hecwears you could just light him like they did in a few scenes from the film and get the same effect....I actually was thinking of hooking up a light and sound display just for him so it will play the theme from the film at a touch of a button.

Looking at the pictures on Sideshows website, it seems that's what they did when they took certain pictures of it.

Sounds like a good idea.

Can you please post a tutorial when you do so?
