that better be 1/6.

It seems to be roughly 11" from the top of the head to the bottom of the crotch, judging by the tabloid/A3 size paper it's sitting on top of.

That would seem to correspond to 1/6 scale but we'll have to wait I guess.

Cain has always been a grail figure for me and ever since i saw the movie i have always wanted some sort of representation of the character in figure form. The closest thing i ever had was the 3 inch kotobukiya figure released about 10 years ago. Never thought id see the light of day when someone would make a poseable 1/6th scale cain to be honest but im more then happy to to be proven wrong.

I remember the excitement i felt and the buzz on this forum when seeing the hot toys robocop and cain teaser pic. For whatever reason though they never followed up and made a cain figure and i guess thats their loss because i think there will be big demand for this figure once its released. I remember the guy from chronicle saying a 1/6th scale cain would be impossible to make into a figure. I guess thats him proven wrong!

Likewise. The only RoboCain I've ever had was made out of pencil, pen and cardboard. :lol I can't wait for this friggin' thing.

I'm hoping his head opens up too. Looks that way from the pics. If its true it would just make an epic figure even more epic!

meh good enough for me. Its a poseable cain figure for goodness sake! they don't exactly make em every year. Whats to complain about...

Well, time to start peddling Nuke. Looks amazing, the head seems like it can open too. If it actually has a working screen inside this will be a must-buy no matter what...

I think you're looking at the scaling wrong. A 1/6 Prawn would be around 14", maybe taller with the legs straight up and down. Looks like Cain's at least the same height, possibly taller.

They confirmed on FB that Cain is roughly 16.5" tall.

Excellent.

if that's a minimal height, it might be ok. if that's a middle height... he will be a shortie.

What's his actual height supposed to be, about nine feet?

In which case he really needs to be 18" standing straight. You know what though? I don't care. Not going to pass this up for the sakes of 1.5 inches.

i don't know what it should be.
actual height can be approximated from these two images that show a human figure in direct contact with Cain, unlike other shots in the movie. there is also a scene with two dolls who seem to be in scale, judging by that human/cain torso photo.

i'll try doing it.

wait, there is a better option.

Cain is at his minimum, dormant height here, and he is like 356 pixels here, and the biggest Robo doll, standing on his left (on the right for us), is 282 pixels.
356/282=1.26.
16.5" Robocain means that Robocop should be 13.1".
if somebody can measure HT Robocop now, and he will be of that height or less, and if 16.5 for Robocain is his dormant minimal height, it will be a perfect fit.

though he must have had some Krang-like magnifyer :lol

Here are the Chronicle Cain specs - 16 inches high, 10.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep. And the inaccuracies on the ThreeZero piece, according to the Cain Mark II data base...

i also saw no tubes on his frontal stomach hydraulics and a reversed horisontal detail on his chest - it pops out instead of be a slot.

edit: i see that chronicles fits perfectly.

finally understood what made Cain so creepy:
his upper part is moved back from his lower part, he's like cut in half, and axles of two halves go in parallel.

I think 16' will be fine, hulk is 18 and many consider him too big

Hope threezero bought one of those chronicles statue for reference.
Its a dream come true.

It really is, isn't it? I passed up on the Chronicle Cain partly because of the price and partly because I have no interest in statues. A moving figure in line with the stop motion puppet has always been my dream, I think I'm probably going to start pre-emptively selling some items from my collection to get a head start on saving for this thing.

This is the definition of 'holy grail' collectible right here :lecture
