Yeah he seems undersized, but sit him in that throne and its huge....if he was Hulks size plus the throne, he wouldn't even fit in a Besta

then actually how tall is this thanos, it said 15 inches tall according to official specification.

Average size, boring design, barebones set and zero expression on the face...
Not a $400+ figure for sure. Obvious cashgrab is obvious.

Here's hope MS will fix his design for IW and HT will make a better and fairly priced figure.

I know, opinions etc, but man. Are we looking at the same figure?

I agree that he seems too small next to Hulk though.

Hulk is an oversized figure anyway though.

Thanos was never Hulk sized in the comics, he's listed as 6'7. He's buff as all get out but not 10 feet tall. Looks like they didn't make him gigantic for the movies either.

The price is mostly due to it being an entirely new buck, a nearly 100% sculpted figure and it being over sized. Hulk is 300 alone, and they got 3 seperate releases out of it, and the sculpting and tooling and paint on hulk is much less then thanos. It's sculpting and tooling costs is more in line with iron man, which can run 325ish and is smaller. Thanos doesn't have the lighting or as many articulation points...but it's still got a large surface area and sculpting amount. And with much less reuse potential.

He's not as big as I first thought but he's still bigger then nearly every figure except hulk and hulkbuster. And more sculpted details then hulk.

He's still 1,5 times larger + has separate teeth piece and eyes.

Predators, Aliens, etc. Heck, even Chitauri figures.
Can't remember them bein' over $220

Which WILL be reused later at least twice.

Agree with this. Also, I really want to see a video review in regards to height because I'm seeing a lot of conflicting photos and hearing a lot of different measurements.

I will definitely wait to see if he ends up looking bigger on screen in IW. This version doesn't do it for me. For now my eyes are on Ultron

Anyone here insane enough to pay THIS much for this Marvel Legends figure?

Actually, I rest my case. I know many that do.

Lol.

These prices (even retail) are just a joke now.

Why did Hot Toys give him a visible elbow joint? That ruined it for me. Maybe they will fix that for the IW Thanos.

The figure looks fantastic, but I'll wait to see what they do with Infinity War. I like that he's not too huge like Hulk. So far, it was hard to tell how tall he was in the films and I was worried he was too big. Ideally the movie Thanos should be around 7 feet tall, imo.

He looks like a pipsqueak compared to Hulk and doesn't look too intimidating beside Fury and Tony Stark. Some good detail though.

I love that chair with the lights, pretty impressive. It looks very organic and comfy. I could picture myself relaxing in that thing sitting there while getting a "manicure" from a "masseuse" at a luxurious hotel. All Thanos needs is a bathrobe and some complimentary crisps and his Spa experience will be complete.

It should come with an additional sculpt smiling. Other than The Joker, I can't think of another villain who smiles as much as Thanos. He knows how powerful he is, so he smiles because he's confident.

It's Hot Toys we're talking about, a dead eyed, emotionless, somber face is kinda their thing (with a few minor exceptions).
