so after consulting sideshow about my damaged grimlock head, they said their is no replacements available and offered me a $100 partial refund to keep it.....extremely disappointing, I paid $1779 not to get a damaged statue that i waited over 1 year and half for. I am returning it for a full refund and rebuying

Sorry to hear that Sideshow wasn't able to help.

But does Sideshow ever have replacement parts for these Prime 1 statues? I've been following these threads since I purchased the Optimus Prime and its the same nearly every time. No replacement parts.

And theres no guarantee a full replacement won't have their own problems as others have posted. Sometimes I still think the safest way to get a complete statue is buy two, mix and match if necessary and return the 'spare'.

Why don't you ask Kira in the Ask Prime 1 Studios thread on statue forum if they can help you out?

well what im doing is secret compass is super cool, and im mailing my head back to them, they will mail me a new good head and give me a $100 credit, So im very happy with their customer service, much better then sideshow

Secret compass? Affiliated with prime 1? How much is it costing to get a replacement head?

Need some input guys. I have the funds and the opportunity to buy either Grimlock or the cinemaquette T-800, both are around the same price. I've never seen the Cinemaquette in person but it pushing on nearly 8 years old so I'm wondering if the sculpt has held up over time? Is it still widely regarded as the "best endo" not withstanding 1:1?
