Great picture!

I should be receiving WM within the next couple of weeks from BBTS. One thing that kind of confuses me though, is the directions for the Mk XLIII and Mk XLII recommend that they (and any die-cast figure for that matter actually) not be displayed on a u-cradle stand; due to the weight, I suppose. However, yet WM comes with one of the standard AoU u-cradle stands that the other AoU figures do.

Thanks. You are right on your comment. However WM is very stable on the u stand. No prob with the weight as you will see very soon. In addition, I decided to place some soft material between the holder and the legs. It may not be necessary but I usually do it to avoid marks appearing in the future. I usually take the protections (black soft material) that is coming with the figures (usually between articulations).

I have a quick question about this figure. I remember one of the complaints people had about the Mark 42 was that it practically had no "butt", did they change this between the Mark 42 and Mark 43?

I recently got the mark 43, love it. I also have the the mark 42, I swap the 2 head sculpts, made the mark 43 more battle damaged looking by putting the mark 42's damage parts on it, even the gold damage chest piece and the damage arms. My mark 42 is just now the clean version both look very cool.

I pre ordered the mark 45, but the invasion of the Mk43 quarter scale photos gave me the inspiration to futz a little better my 1/6.. I have room just for one IM, and I thought that the 45 was better, but now I'm not so sure..
Sorry for the crappy iPad pic.

I have looked through most of this thread, and I can't remember seeing very many landing poses. Is anyone able to post a pic or two of theirs so I can get an Idea. I have tried a few times, and each time, it has come out horrible. Thanks in advance.

Mine's packed up at the moment, but here is how I had him displayed

I'm really tempted to get this. $288 ish, standard release. It'll be the only IM I get, and I'll have to skip buying a lot of stuff to fund it. Worth it?

this thing is worth the $330-40(whatever the original price from Sideshow was) that i payed for it, let alone at a discount!

definitely worth having

That seems to be the general voice about this. I'm hovering over complete order...

Edit. It's done. You people are a bad influence and I love you all.

I'm doing the same thing as far as hovering over that button. $288 seems like a great deal for this figure and I don't think I'd be able to get it at that price again brand new, especially after seeing that it's no longer available through SS. If only the XLV wasn't damn near a year away I wouldn't have this itch to get a figure in!
