I think these are some high end limited runs. They did a Wolverine one that saw a much wider release at a much lower price, which was available both painted and unpainted.

Seriously, Modern Life need a new business plan. How can one even consider charging that much.

It's always going to be subjective, but the ART sculpt looks like a caricature...and not a very good one. To my eyes it looks like a weird cross between Hardy and a "Saving private Ryan" Tom Hanks, maybe beause of those eyes and getting the hair completely wrong.

That's what I'm waiting on. I'll probably pay the exorbitant price for the Modern Life head if the VTS isn't much better than Art's

Great sculpt, but not a particularly nuanced paint job. It's good, but nothing that would demand that kind of price.

Hopefully after this auction ends they'll sell unpainted copies. Although the listing makes it almost sound like the bidders are not bidding on what's pictured, given the "limited run" tag and delivery day in January?

Yeah, it's a strange set up for sure. I believe the DAM set will be revealed next week, hopefully they went all-in on the headsculpt to beat AF and after surely seeing the ML one.

A new head from a company called Brother Productions just went up for preorder on KG. It's a marked improvement on the Art head, if not quite as nice as the Modern Life sculpt

Agreed. About the only thing they got right is the hair, the scar and the stubble beard and got everything else wrong. I can't see how anyone could see Hardy in the sculpt.
