Majority of PT duels = all flash, no depth

Are you giving them to charity? Otherwise you should be able to buy both of those figures and still have some left over after selling DX07. Even if you're not looking for top dollar, you should still get around $500.

Personally I was glad to sell mine for $450 as I more than broke even (including shipping, taxes, etc) and there were a couple nitpicks I had with the figures. Still a really awesome set but I'm sure we'll see a better Bespin Luke sometime down the road. Would rather sell the set off early and not take a loss on it.

These two posts are good to hear. I wasn't sure what they were going for but I didn't think it was much more then retail. Now I don't have the exclusive so that might affect it? Other then that it's in perfect condition. The dio needs new batteries for the lights though.

Looks great, but I really feel like they should have went with real cloth for the leg wraps. I'll probably replace them. HT does things like that that I don't get. The only thing I can think of is to keep cost down? Same with the shoes. Companies like DID always use "real" shoes with laces and actual cloth leg wraps for their WWI-WWII figures.

I have the Bespin set, but I don't remember what the exclusive was so not sure if I have it or not. I'm not selling it anyway- I still like it

Yeah. It's not bad or anything, it's very well sculpted and painted. It's quality, but you can still tell it's sculpted. The cloth would have been better. That's just my opnion.

Obi-wan and Darth Maul? Easily the highlight of the whole PT for me.

The cuts to Anakin saying things like "I'll try spinning - that's a good trick!" ruins the intensity on that one.

Yeah that's maybe the only duel I really like from start to finish. The others range from silly to exhausting.

Bar the Obi/Maul fight, the prequel duals look like a bunch go girls swinging batons at callisthenics. There is no power or weight to anything they do.

Also, a master should be so good they barely move (Vader vs Luke in Empire - when Neo becomes "aware" in The Matrix, etc), but the prequels had to up the "spectacle" rather than any emotional impact.

Thanks, I had successfully blocked out any memory of Anakin's attempt at flying, and now it's sullied my memory of the Obi-wan/Maul duel. Though to be fair, I remember hating every cut in the middle of that duel (to Anakin, Naboo, or anything other than lightsabers).

It would be great if HT did a voice option for R2 and 3PO when they finally announce the droids. Much easier to get to a switch on those two than Vader I'm sure. Remote control lights and sound maybe this time.

Ugh, I can already hear the million voices crying out in terror: do I need this, should I swap, don't like the blue, don't like the silver, batteries are hard to swap, not much of an upgrade for "x" amount, can someone post a side-by-side, can someone post more side-by-sides, can someone post with Hasbro, I like the PT, can someone post without the third leg, can someone touch my third leg, how is it in hand, I don't like the copper tubes, etc....
