The Plot hole is Batman going into hiding for 7 years and then faking his death.. He is the Batman.... The Batman does not do that.... :)

I know it's Nolan's Universe but the other films were true to the character. This one.. not so much.

It's a bit of a mess in other areas also... It;s just not as good. Having said that I can still watch it and find entertainment in it.

I disagree, it was totally in character as far as the Nolan Batman goes. The Nolan Batman was always looking for a way out. The whole plot of TDK (which everyone loves...apparently ) revolves around Batman looking for a replacement because he knew he couldn't do it for much longer.Even at the end of Begins, they allude to it being temporary. TDKR is a continuation of that. It's not the comic Batman...but he never was, besides...it's not like he hasn't retired in the comics or in the cartoons. Even in the current Batman issue, he's retired :lol

The Mexico scene was perfection. One long shot great visuals awesome cinematography

No doubt, the tracking shots and arial work were perfect, just only one quick scene of when he was chasing the guy on the ground did it get hard to follow.

So 99.9% perfect. :lol

Oh, and the fight with the helicopter pilot went on 25 seconds too long.

99.8% :lol

Let me think, is there anything else.

Nolan took a chance and did make TDKR quite removed from the film before it...wise? Up to the viewer. I thought it was daring and against the grain and worked. Far better than AoU following Avengers in the same footprnts but far sloppier.
I prefer to think TDKR as a grand experiment that worked...but others didn't. May be the only superhero film that will ever stray that far from what was expected... but back to SPECTRE-

And a few he missed that I'll just copy from youtube comments :

The whole process of being captured, treated as guests then clothing and champagne being provided is lifted straight from Dr No. All the furniture in the rooms was in a 60's style too.

Bond talks to a rodent - Diamonds Are Forever

Bond shoots at a villain, but is blocked by bullet proof glass - The World is Not Enough

Bond is given 3 minutes to escape - GoldenEye

Well damn... Now the whole series sucks :lol

I don't know... He just seemed more Batman in the first two films. The third film is missing something... I know one of those things is the fact that the end of TDK had a promise of Batman still fighting crime but being hunted down by he police. He may wanted to get out to be with his girl, who knew better then he did thathe could never give up being Batman. Instead he goes into hiding for 7 years... Blah... It just missed something for me... It also has several low points in the series (Matthew Modine, dialogue, surprise villains, action etc.. )

Again I don't think it's the abomination that many others do... But it's really lacking compared to he first two films IMO.

Just saw this movie a 3rd time, and I have to say; this official has to be my all time favorite Bond. It has officially topped Casino Royale for me. Any issue I have with Spectre is more on the cinematography front. I admit everything is beautiful, but the way Mexico was depicted is wrong IMO. The weather alone was something completely out of whack as well as the celebration of DotD has not been like that for ages and many don't celebrate it in that fashion either.

Everything else was great. The way all the films are connected, the Easter eggs between all other Bonds as well as the DC ones.

I loved the Martian, but that one had me checking the time once or twice. Spectre, along with JW; just flies by for me. Gonna go next week in IMAX.

I think they weren't going to be able to shoot the scene in mexico unless they made Mexico look a certain way and met other various criteria

It was more of a personal tick. That would have made plenty of sense. It just seemed dull in the weather.

Regardless the entire sequence is fantastic!

The only issue about seeing this film so many times is that I think I'm warming up to the theme song. :lol

Hahahaha I tell myself "it's horrendous you don't like it. You REALLY don't like it". If it helps I like the tune I don't like the lyrical aspect.

There were zero problems with the cinematography in this movie, if anything it earned an Oscar.

Weather is irrelevant for me.

If a movie is shot in Seattle on a non raining day, it doesn't make it any less Seattle for me.

Regarding the way the Day of the Dead parade was portrayed, it was accurate enough for what the movie needed it for.

If anything, it was overkill for just a small chase. :lol

The CGI crowd was very well done though.

I don't know if it's my fav... But yeah it's still growing on me. I just can't get over how entertained I was for 2 and 1/2 hours and never felt the film was long.

It was great to see Craig finally in full Bond form. The other films always kept him from being fully Bond (Someone already mentioned this but I could not find it to quote)

Anyways I loved it.

The music is fine, the singing...:yuck
Probably could be a decent tune if Adele or someone with some vocal range did it. As it is, it's the worst since Goldeneye, but the music for that film in general was awful, so I don't know if that one could've been saved with decent vocals.
