I have just a Buffy and Angel from Sideshow's old figures. The sculpts are actually still pretty good, but the paint, bodies, clothing and accessories are all very amateurish compared to what we expect these days.

First HT I bought were Jake Sully and Christopher Reeve Superman and I haven't looked back.

If anyone has the mr bean zcwo! That's the path these companies should try and follow - that release beats (If not at least stands neck to neck) with most of the hot toys releases from packaging, to accessories, accuracy, options, overall quality etc!
Only If all these companies could put their heart and soul in these figures i would actually be happy / every time anyone kicks the ht butt this game becomes more fun!

A lot of you newer collectors had the luxury to pass on certain companies for Hot Toys. A lot of us older collectors started with GI Joes and Action Man and went from there. We were glad to get what we got. I'm kind of thankful for it. I personally don't need a spot on likeness. I'm pretty happy having a decent representation of a character.

What do you guys think about the quality of this outfit compared to Threezero's?

I'm not too keen to wait until early summer 2016 for a Terminus outfit.

That outfit set costs almost as much as the full licensed figure from Threezero.

Yeah, but I don't have to wait until what will most likely be July or August 2016 (possibly later) to get my hands on it. I want to put a Rick figure together now, not late next year. I wouldn't be using Threezero's body or head anyway. I just want the clothing.

Tyrion was a homerun. The likeness and paints were top notch, and outside eyes, he's dang close to HT. (Hands are a different story). From what I understand, Ned is a step down in paints. So now we have Heisenberg, which way will that go? That's a good question. I think the production piece on Heisenberg will set the approximate "future standard" for what we expect from 3Z's human likenesses.

Not so good, huh? Damn.

The price you found on this set is very expensive. Check here for a normal price (with a small discount also :) ).

Based on your remarks I think Redman's quality must've improved significantly since then, as their The Good, the Bad and the Ugly figures came out really well: good tailoring; crisply cast guns; fine faux leather belts and spur straps.

Redman's quality was mediocre to say the least for Rick, as for the western figures somewhere I red that the rifle was rubber.
Do you have one of these figures to confirm this?

Their Mass Effect Shepard was horrendous. Did you see the sculpt on that thing? Oof...

Does anyone think we will see any new pictures of this before release? I'd kinda like I see an actual picture of this before I jump in and buy it. So far I think it looks great.

There are conventions throughout the year where Threezero has been displayed before. It's pretty much guaranteed to not be released on time, so I imagine it'll be shown at least once beforehand.

Brilliant, hopefully we will see the actual final product at some point then.

Finally a chance to own 1/6 Rick figure!

Hope one day to see them or HT makes a 1/6 Sheriff Rick <3

My only issue is Shane is my favorite character, so without him I have less of an urge to get Rick or Daryl. Companies seem to ignore season 1 and 2 when it comes to merch these days so I doubt an official 1/6 Shane will ever get made. I've had no luck finding the Worldbox sculpt either.

Maybe dam toys will release a Shane, their Rick and Daryl heads look great! And they're cheap too so I'll keep my fingers crossed
