I think the new Sentinel maquette would be a great companion piece to the new Iron Studio's Magneto Sentinel Battle diorama. I was considering getting it. But with all the delays I have too many po's on my plate to warrant spending an extra $900 on this.

Totally with you. With XM Thanos being delayed and Prime1 Batman coming out in in the next several months I only have so much to spend and there are only so many pieces around the $1k price I can justify.

I think that mags looks horrible. Iron studious leaves a lot to be desired in the detail department. The concept and even the execution are good but the face body paint etc. I am just not a fan of Iron studious work overall.

Horrible?? Please. It's a 1/6 comic piece and for what they were going for they did an excellent job. It's comic accurate for the costume, paint, etc. so I see zero justification to call it "horrible". You can say you're not a fan of that comic accurate style, but you can't say it's horrible. Particularly when you admit the concept and execution are good

Initially I was more excited about the 1st portrait. It's a classic interpretation that's more in line with the animated series and comics. However, the 2nd head has won me over with its menace! It also seems to "fit" the body more. (Awesome pic below by THX)

Great idea for the unused head. I wonder how much assembly is required for this beast. You might be able to leave a severed arm on the battlefield and have a "damaged" sentinel on display.

He's way over priced and he's not as popylar. With this es he's still not sold out for years. I think it's very possible
