I am really mad at myself. I was so exited when this figure was announced as it is what I needed to complete my Iron Man I display. I ordered this figure as soon as it went up - waited patiently but then when all the negative reviews popped up I started regretting the purchase. My husband was unfortunately home when the package arrived so I told him I bought it with mostly points and was going to sell it to make some money. I put it aside and put it up for sale. Almost sold it twice but the deal fell through both times. I was skimming over the thread today and just said screw it and opened it up. I LOVE this figure!!! Took me just a minute or so to find a pose I really liked and I can't be happier with it. Lesson learned for me - if I really want an item I need to ignore the negatives and see it in hand to judge for myself. I really would have missed out on a fantastic figure and had a huge hole in my collection if I had sold this off.

Interesting perspective. Glad you ended up loving it ... cannot wait to get this next week.

My Mark III was waiting for me when I got home, and I have to say I'm very happy with it. colour and finish are beautiful and it looks great with the other Avengers in my collection. The three point landing is quite easy to do and looks great, the swapping of the mid section is a little worrying though and may not hold up to lots of swapping. Also getting the plastic off the air flaps is a fracking nightmare!!

Like everyone else I would of liked ab, waist and anckle pivot as these all make a difference. I'm happy though as I only wanted one classic Iron Man armor and this fits the bill perfectly. Some quick pictures to follow..

Love the opinions and pictures.
I cannot wait to have this figure! Next week my exclusive comes in and I'll definately be sharing my views and pictures with all of you guys. Thank you for all the posts. I don't buy many figures, the ones I do I stick to the forum and read almost all the posts. Great stuff.

I'm not sure why people are having issues getting it into a landing pose. It was super easy. My only complaint is the odd hip armor the sticks out when landing. I own pretty much every Iron Man to date, so I always planned to keep it in the landing pose. So, I'm happy with it, even if it isn't perfect. I wish the could have kept near MK43 articulation and had the swap out abs.

Not a great picture, but you get the idea...
