I hear ya. I was thinking of displaying it in my home office to promote a fun, creative environment while I write. But this thing looks so bad I might have to display it in a more public area to show it off. I can't seem to stop looking at pictures of it online and I'm really digging the look with the lights off too.

While I decide whether or not to start saving for the SS T-800 Combat or hope for a new clean bust w/ shoulders, I think a 1:1 alien is my next big purchase. Although, I think I dig HCG version more than Sideshow's; again the shoulder thing. SS's warrior alien bust looks incredible but it doesn't seem to be very easily obtainable.

Thanks for the info guys.

Man you will love this thing with the eyes off trust me. Also pics online are great but its when you pull him out of the box and go wow.

Hi just managed to get hold of this bust but something is really bothering me. How come my eye's dont dim off ?
They just switch off...???

Mate, I found out why and solved it. This is because I leave the statue switch on by default and basically light it up from the wall plug which bypasses the dim down electronics in the statue switch. To achieve the dim down effect, you need to switch off directly at the statue itself. Hope that is clear. Cheers!

Iv sent the guy a message on if he will drop the price or if he'd consider a part ex...
Really do want this now.
Iv just brought the endo and a latex Arnie battle damage so it really has come up for sale at the wrong time and they are not always available in the uk..

I don't know why but I just had a bulb light up moment in my head and wondered whether there is actually currently available a latex Arnold to wrap around this amazing bust!!! Battle damaged skin torn off and all. That would be brilliant I think!!!

I thought about this when I bought the bust also but not an Arnie mask but one more like in the film, I searched everywhere for one even all my local fancy dress shops but never found one. I am not giving up though as I am still looking.

There is a german guy on youtube who made an awesome t600 mask out of latex. I sent him numerous emails about offering it but he never replied :(
Here it is

the other option which i think will work and I was going to try is to buy a michael myers mask but the bald headed version without hair. The face isnt to dissimilar and once cut up and weathered, I think it would work. I may give it a try soon.

Agreed on that price. I got mine for like $600 years ago. And yes that model is quite a bit bigger than a t800

Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the bust from the original run that they can post?
I'm trying to find one of the older ones and was wondering if there was a year on there or something to tell the difference.

Were they higher quality or something?

Or something. Do you have a newer one?
I will have to check. I got it from eBay so I will have to look at the box for the item number, that is the only way I know to tell them apart. Where did you see they were different or are you just going by the 800 model being worse in the new version?

I do have the original one it seems, item number does not have the extra 2 on the box they added to the end of the old number when they were rereleased. Unfortunately it is packed away right now as I had all my Terminator stuff on the chopping block trying to afford a full 1:1. I think I will be keeping this one though as it is really nice, but not sure when I will open him back up to display again to grab a pic of the base. Hopefully you can get one with the original box and you will know that way.

Well I just returned the newer one to sideshow.
The eyes were wonky... the left one was really bad and seemed to be looking the wrong way.
The details on the right one didn't line up with the online pics either... those 4 things around each eye.
I'm thinking either one or both eyes were not installed correctly.
Sideshow told me they are all like that... not sure I believe it if they only checked 1 more piece..
But I don't remember my original (that I stupidly sold) being like that so I'm going for one of those instead now. The t-800 has also put me off on trying anything from a second run.
I was just told the old ones have 2009 on the bottom of the base but I'm not sure what the new ones have. I honestly thought this would be a simple return and get another one so I didn't take pics of that.
I wasn't aware of the different numbers. Thanks that helps!

Well if anyone cares I did pick up a T-600 from the first original run.
It just says 2009 under the base.
It looks perfect and the eyes look great!
However I did get a T-700 from the second sideshow run and the jaw was crooked :slap it got returned as well!

Any of those second runs are going to be done even more lazy than the first for sure. How much do the older T600's go for now adays? Mines been in storage for a long time.
