Working on it right now. After the white primer, the gloss black coat is now on. When that dries you can get a real nice deep metal sheen from the metal paint player. Then comes weathering.

I have the Ringwraith and really love how it came out of the box (after futzing, of course). Jazz, your repaint makes this already awesome piece look even more awesome! Great job on it!
And your Sauron looks equally impressive!

I'm now nervous of displaying my dark rider of mordor now. Is there any way to prevent the leaning?

Mine is still in the box, don't have the place to display yet. But worried to take him out of the box because of the leaning problem. Is there anybody here who got his DROM displayed for more than a year without the issue.

I had mine set up and displayed for 8 months and just recently boxed it back up due to a move. Hadn't noticed any leaning, but checked very often to keep an eye out for any stress fractures/cracks on the hind legs that other owners had mentioned previously. I do still worry about this eventually developing a lean. It is definately one of my favourite LOTR pieces though.

At this point it's hard to say if the engineering or possibly a bad "batch" is to blame. Either way it sucks for something this large/expensive.
That Sauron repaint still looks fantastic.

Sounds like his started to lean and he never tried to correct the issue. Could have been uneven pads, display surface, etc... Who knows, but if mine started to lean I sure as heck would not have just let it keep doing it until it fell.
