Sokovia, Vibranium And CIVIL WAR: Kevin Feige Teases Black Panther!

Find out Black Panther's role in CIVIL WAR.
By DEVIN FARACI Jun. 29, 2015

Captain America: Civil War is going to be the most diverse modern superhero movie yet made, but there’s one character whose introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a particularly big deal for representation. After all, he’s getting his own movie soon, but more than that Black Panther isn’t just another superhero - he’s a monarch, the leader of an African country. And this country isn’t a nation full of stereotypical backwards natives, Wakanda is a land that is scientifically advanced beyond even the industrialized Western nations.

I haven't been following this movie, but that's cool that they're introducing Black Panther. I don't know anything about his character, but I really wanted to learn about him. I thought it was odd that they were making a Civil War movie so soon, since I thought it would need much more superheroes. I guess that's changed! Who else is in it besides Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Spider-man?

One day I want to see a superhero movie where a guy steals a purse and then the 50 Marvel heroes of New York (or how many there are) just dog-pile him.

Falcon and Ant Man. Possibly more.

I hope there's more or else this is going to a be a very loose adaptation. This is going to be the must-see movie for me. Civil War in the comics is so awesome. Obviously, we won't see Reed, but I'm really hoping that they can add some beef in terms of numbers to the cast. The 'finale' battle scene is going to require it, if indeed that's the route they're going. I'm sure I'm all wrong though, and they're just using the name to create buzz.

And Scarlet Witch, Vision, and War Machine. Plus Crossbones and Zemo. And Winter Soldier. And for those who've seen Ant-Man already

Not clicking spoiler. NOT CLICKING SPOILER!!! :lol

Thor better be in CW too. But then again, it would have to be 'robo' Thor....so not sure how Disney would sell that one to the general audiences. :lol

I think I can predict with a reasonable amount of certainty that Thor's clone will not make it. But then again who knows. I would like to see the Thor/Iron Man confrontation when Thor finds out Tony cloned him. A great one sided fight.

I like that!

Was also just thinking....

That would make sense - eliminates having to making another character, especially since you already have a guy with the same powers. And I could easily see that happening. :lecture

I'm guessing that the ASM2 costume was so perfect they needed to come up with something new/different.

We've had 5 movies with static eyes, no harm in trying it.

A squint here and there won't kill anyone.
