Sorry for going off topic here, but you guys seem to be in the know.

Did the Thundercats get dropped?

This seems to have fizzled out, hunh...

Actually, I think the whole process and what Erick is allowed to do has changed a bit. I have seen some seriously kick butt prototype sculpts that are just killer. Even action poses have been thrown on the table, and there are at least a few Jim Lee inspired sculpts? I will talk to him and see if there is any new stuff I can bring here to show and tell...lol

I really hate the idea of unpainted sculpts. I have no use for them since I can't do a professional paint job myself. I understand that it's probably a licensing issue, but I would just rather they go the whole way and offer a finished product.

Thanks Spidey but even their site hasnt changed nor have i noticed any reveals on SF. ..?

I would grab one only if i missed a character and/or there wasnt another on the horizon.

Well generally the idea of unpainted/unassembled kits is they're supposed to be cheaper than buying a statue. But if the price that was originally announced on these holds up, then there's no point in buying them.

:exactly: So true, wasn't it like $500?

Yep, why buy these when I can buy a PF finished for the same.

Erick has been doing some fine work and there is talk of Erick being able to offer painting services. However, it isn't a direct service... I will see if I can find the link.

Let me first say I do think Erick is a very talented artist, but I'm just not really feeling his DC line, poses are rather boring and the over the top muscles look rather cartoonish. IMO.... By the time you get done buying it then shipping it to someone to assemble and paint it and then ship it back to you, your probably looking at around $900+
