Best image so far, thanks Dave.

If you took this yourself and could get a close enough look, did you notice if the robe fabric has a diagonal pattern to it?

The robes are still the weakest aspect on these for me, including the presence of an opening running down the front and its very obvious hemmed edge.

It's simple enough that it could be.

Too complex for an exclusive, but I'd like to see a sixth scale Treadwell:

I would love this in 1/6th too. 15 years ago, I built a 3-3/4 scale Treadwell, with over 200 parts. Check it out.

There's just something so great about seeing these guys with R5, R2, Threepio and X-Wing Luke all together! It's all soooo nostalgic!

Yes, brilliant work Anthrapoid!! :clap

I've got the Hasbro one from the 2008 Legacy collection Jawa/droid set. That's pretty good too - especially for a pack in figure.

I didn't notice a pattern, but they looked pretty good in person.

I think they do look pretty cool, my only gripe would be the hard plastic look to the face/head inside the robe. I would rather a fabric "ski mask" over it with eye holes cut or something, it just breaks the illusion because it reflects light back instead of it looking dark and mysterious under the hood. It reminded of an old plastic Orko from MOTU for a second on one of the above pictures. I suppose some matte black paint would help a bit but I hope they go for a better solution.

I think in person they look better. Looks like the person used a camera flash that is causing the light to hit the face more.

In person the fabric looked very thick... so hopefully it's something that can be futzed, or in production they get something a bit thinner. Overally they looked really good and I like that it's two different sizes and they have different robes. Hopefully they'll fit in well with my two customized Hasbro Jawa's and the Medicom one.

It is cool that they did the hoods differently on both. Although I think there was only one in the whole group from the movie that had it like the tall one.

Rebelscum posted some decent closeup photos of these figures and the rest of the SS booth.
The straight on shots of 3PO's head actually don't look that bad.

The robes still look like they're overproduced to me. They could get away with a simpler design using more accurate fabric for a far better appearance overall. The customization potential is great however, so fingers crossed these come in at a good price as I'd love to get a couple of sets. That would give enough mix and match parts that could be combined with the stuff I already have to make at least 6 really cool figures.
