Debating on getting this one as BBTS recently got their shipment in of him. I really loved his character in the movie and I really like the head sculpt as it looks very accurate to Chris Pratt. So I guess the only problem people have had with him is the loose helmet sculpt?

I personally have no problems with the helmeted sculpt, it holds position perfectly. In fact, I'd say it's a tighter fit than the Pratt sculpt.

You know you want this. :lol

Looks awesome but as a peev, the shadows should be reversed :lol

I noticed. I'm just pretending that there is a much stronger light source (the sun?) to his left (our right). :lol I have a very limited, homemade set-up, I have yet to fix it to allow me to put a light source on the other side.

Edit: And now I'm going to do that. I was hoping nobody would really notice the inconsistency. Darn you! :pfft:

Why? the orb is lighting his right side of face correctly, 2nd light source (sun?) is lighting the left side of his body? :dunno
Looks good to me. :rock

Just got a notice that Star-Lord was oversold at the online store I ordered... Now to find one at a reasonable price :gah:

A while back,
I saw someone talking about, that it would be great for a way to display all the MCU Infnity Stones/Gems/Items.
I was thinking about that exact thing, when I received Star Lord from Hong Kong last december, and it had the Orb (Power), having already the Aether (Reality?), Tesseract (Space) and Scepter (Mind?)

Infinity Stones - Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki

So I contacted Seth Stoneberger on Facebook, creator of Stoney's Stands (https://www.facebook.com/StoneysStands), who makes different acrylic display stands to show off accesory's and extra headsculpts.

I had the idea in my mind, and he excuted it perfectly!
My idea was to display it with the villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also looks cool with The Guardians!

Here are a couple of pics:

Made also a short video about it:
