Yeah, I meant the head in general...worked a long shift, so I meant more the new paint job and the face just looks better this time around than Winter Soldier in my opinion. Just like the Chris Evans paint job on the new Cap is a lot better than the Winter Soldier Evans.

As I said 5 pages ago:

"People complained the A1 sculpt looked like Nicole Kidman, then they complained the TWS sculpt looked like Natalie Portman..."

And this one is just a repaint of the TWS sculpt...plus a lot of accessories, which I like...

Now I really want to see that scene with her and those big...blasters...

I think everyone will have their preference, but really, in the end it'll depend on what they deliver. Winter Soldier Widow was bashed by a great deal of people, and in the end she still seems to have those who love her...that's kind of how you keep these threads going! If everyone just said, "Awesome! Can't wait!" then it'd be pretty boring I'm sure when this one is delivered there will be a lot of happy purchasers, and others who purchase after the fact, and some who already have their Widow.

Unless you're a huge fan, I think we're all mostly looking to just find that one Widow that will fill that spot in our collections! I'm still not sure if this is it for me, but I do love the paint/outfit and accessories (even though I'm not one to really constantly change poses!)

This design is awful; but HT did a good job on the suit/body, meh to reusing sculpts.

I agree... especially at this price point. They should make sure each figure of a same character has a unique looking headsculpt, whether it be a different expression or a different sculptors take on the actor/actress.

Is this the first time they reused a sculpt?

I disagree. Though here she is with red. I'd say she is closer to another Supernatural alum then ms Cohen. But I think she looks more like the person she was sculpted to look like.

Still like the original Avengers version the best. The head and hair look off on this one.

Personally I think it looks great. I have the WS version and love it, but this one seems to be thicker. Idk if it is for sure, but the previous Widow's have been far too skinny to be ScarJo.

I will say the pictures from the Toy Show in Asia looked MUCH better than these over photo shopped pictures. The hair looks wet and unfinished.

interesting how we all assumed that the protos just have "placeholder" head sculpts. guess not. wouldn't be surprised if they reused thor and hawkeye also. this means they better keep the cost down.

Another one for the collection. Looks fine to me. I like the new costume. Did they even mod the head sculpt though?

The Winter Soldier sculpt of her still reigns supreme, I just don't like the hair they gave her in that movie. I prefer her Avenger hair.

My biggest gripe is the body. They just don't seem to care about making her look like the actress physically. Scarlett is short and curvy. This figure is underweight.

Digging the costume though and because she's an Avenger I have to buy her..
