It's his base outfit without the cape and helmet. I don't own Avengers Loki but from what I've heard the tailoring on TDW Loki is better. I own it and the outfit does look great. I bought a short scepter for mine and I'm pretty happy with it. I just need another Marvel villain to go with him lol.

DW outfit is better fitting and the details are smaller/finer.

Missing cape and helmet. Unless you really need the helmet, I'd go for the DW version and buy a sceptre separately

quick question guys...I need a Loki...would prefer to spend less & get the dark world one & get a separate scepter for him...is his dw outfit practically the same as his avengers one in figure form? I'm aware the avengers helmet doesn't fit on his dw head scan but I don't really need a helmet, just gonna get a scepter & I'd be fine with that

any input from an owner of either(or both) figures would greatly help!

As some have mentioned, yes the tailoring is superior on this one. Also the good thing about the TDW outfit is that it's the same outfit that Loki wears for most of the Avengers movie except when he's in his caped/helmeted style (which has some additional armor on). Make sure you get the shorter scepter though, since he only uses the longer version when he has the helmet on. You can easily buy the short scepter from a HT Bruce Banner that's been parted out since he comes with it as part of his accessories.

Tailoring is better on DW from what I have seen in hand. If I could get a DW Loki for super cheap Id head swap my Avengers Loki head onto it and pack Avengers Loki away.

That is key I think.... costume I think will be a secondary concern for most people, and if there are no major changes to his look, it could be used as a replacement for TDW Loki's head

I thought the figure is perfect. The head on mine is not shiny but I'm not sure if the shiny head is a wide spread problem.

Just picked up this figure with Aether on evilbay for around $250 shipped. Be about 2 weeks before he arrives but I'm excited. Missed the excl.version because ss wouldn't ship him to Australia.

I don't believe so, this one is missing the extra armor bits that are on the Avengers version
