Lex is a waste of an announcement IMO. I'd think it would be freakishly ****ing sick if they did something like in the Superman animated series of Metallo. It'd be ****ed up to see a Cybernetic skeleton with some flesh still attached and a mix media suit. Or I'd have taken Zod or Braniac before Luthor.

Edit: Now that I think about it, people could think it's just another Terminator announcement

Luthor is one of the best comic book villains period.

He just sounds so far fetched. also if he is one of the most intelligent men in the world, how does he keep getting rocked by Supes?

I mean I look at Joker, and Batman never wins. Sure he gets caught or something, but almost always in the process, someone dies. That's what he said in Death in the Family, no matter what, Batman won't win until he kills Joker. That's a great villain. Black Manta, kills his own son and Aquaman son, and other rival ideas and still a great villain.

Lex? Well Lex has these interesting suits of Armor and pretty much gets his ass handed to. I mean what? He becomes president? At one point he was in a relationship with Lois? I mean cmon. He just seems boring. But I'll be fair, I've never really committed myself to Superman comics compared to others, so I'm just a bit bias here.

His Ego always over shadows his intelligence. And remember, he hates Superman because he's jealous. He doesn't think one being should have that much power unless it's him. That's why he's trying to destroy him. He uses his money, influence and business to hide his ultimate goals for power and dominance. Superman stops him but a lot of the time there's no evidence to connect Luthor to whatever shady dealings he had going on. So while he wins the battle, Luthor is still able to wage the war. His ability to come out looking clean even though he's as dirty as they come is what makes him so dangerous. No one thinks the Joker is clean, he's obviously insane and Batman locks him up and he escapes again. The problem with Luthor is that they can't even lock him up most of the time.

Etrigan, The Warlord, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Sandman, John Constantine, and Swamp Thing...

Yeah but doesn't that seem boring to you? I mean I guess we can give it to him for being meticulous and capable. But I mean Hannibal Lecter does that, and would be hands down a better villain than Lex. ****, just say Hannibal wants to try Kryptonian meat, and I'd be more interested in that compared to Luthor.

I also don't go against it as much since Superman needs a villain that doesn't battle through intellect or strength. Otherwise it'd be another Metallo or Braniac.

Then I also base him from games. DCU, he sucked. Injustice, he was a *****. MK vs Dc, he was a ******. Never interested me really.

On a different note, it seems that Igo subtly confirmed a Bane to release in the Lex thread in SF.

:slap CBG makes more sense seriously

SS needs to remake green latern and make Flash already to match the sexy trinity already out. In my opinion having all 5 in epic stances displayed together would be just beast

I'd love to see a Star Sapphire or Atrocitus to go with my GL and Sinestro.

Arkham City game based Bats, Harley and/or Catwoman could be incredible.

Batwoman and an Arkham City Harley are my two big must-haves. Then a Stephanie Brown Batgirl or a Carrie Kelly Robin. And I'd love a Captain Marvel but he's a tough character to get right--I hate the New 52 version and I'm not a fan of the Alex Ross "fat grinning Italian guy" version either. (Though to be fair to Ross he only draws Captain Marvel that way sometimes. On the cover of the Power of Hope treasury he gave us a perfect looking Captain Marvel.)

Here's my thinking with a PF. It should be something that has lots of detail, requiring the larger size, and thus having the ability to use materials that couldn't be considered for a smaller piece. The PF bats is a good example, with the utility belt pouches. But to be honest, the Catwoman and Harley.... they just look like big statues wearing pajamas. Now the Arkham City CW and Harley, with all those straps and buckles and belts and such... that could be a really nice PF.... price may be a problem though....

I think I'm done with villains for a while (with the exception of Deathstroke). Half the DC PF statues to date are Batman villains.

I could also see a really nice Captain Marvel done with the mixed media shirt, etc, in that great fists on hips pose.
