Holy moly. Where did this come from! Hell yes! Best 1:6 news in years for me!!

A massive want ticked off the list!

Head size is fine but the body is small. IMHO HT should bulk the body a little bit more and improve the sculpt coz I see Val Kilmer. The head is too round again similar to the recent T1 T-800.

Head too big or body too small... Hope HT fixes that because its really an awesome news.

Re: Hottoys Commando: 1/6th scale John Matrix Collectible Figure.

Bought but looks even more bobble headed than Police Shootout T-800.

How could they leave out saw blades?

Hmm... looks like they used the same headsculpt, maybe it's the body?

Ehh.. I wasn't exactly preaching the gospel from my soap box or anything - just making a quick observation. :lol

If anything - as EVILFACE kinda touched on, it's got that MMS238 vibe actually.. & anyway - he's supposed to have more of a closer to the skin haircut, as opposed to the 'burnt & quasi-spiked' Terminator hair-do. :huh

Sorry VintijDroidGutzz I always think your posts are on a soap box for some reason, and did take it that way, didn't see the comparison to the MMS238 that actually sounds more complementary then. Though looking back at your 13,000 posts maybe you are entitled to a soap box. Thank you for taking the high road and replying like a educated person, it makes me respect your opinions more man.

The hair looks fine to me:

Keep in mind that, at the end of the day, this is still completely sculpted. If you compare his hair to the DX 13 or MMS 238 promo pics, the level of detail is pretty impressive, and it's kind of ridiculous just how fine all of the hairs look for being totally sculpted.

That baby chick or duckling fuzzy looks must be a pain in the ass to sculpt or get right though.

This figure is ruined already. Rubber arms :monkey4 Might as well buy a statue. Good luck trying to pose that thing :lol I just hope they don't do the same to Rambo

Is it possible to pop off the rubber arms and put on pose-able arms? It was one of the things I didn't like on Dutch, or are we going to have to get like a new body all together, if so what would be a good alternative?

You've been gone for a while and I was waiting on your bobble head response :lol would a Chris Redfield body please you? I'll go with what A-Dev says though, cause he seems to be the Arnold expert around these parts.

Re: Hottoys Commando: 1/6th scale John Matrix Collectible Figure.

Fantastic!!!

You can say what you want but Commando is the quintessential Arnold movie, there are a few of them that are probably better but still Commando is the one I saw over 50 times on a 6th generation VHS copy that was mostly black and white with splashes of color. I have probably seen it another 50-100 times since I got in on Laserdisc/DVD/HDTV. I will have a smile for a week now. :yess::rock

I hope that price isn't accurate. Not that it would surprise me but that high I'll likely pass.

I understand, buddy. Only thing I was able to say after seeing John Matrix's price was "I dread to see how much Batman Returns figure would cost if it would be DX".

Re: Hottoys Commando: 1/6th scale John Matrix Collectible Figure.

Oh yeah! I'm pumped for this! Will surely buy one!

Oh wow. If they do this, they need to do Rambo again. I might let them get away with Cobra.
I let Platoon go too. But if you go that far, Corleone!!!
