The Falcon made the trailer for me. Just knowing Han and Chewie are in that thing, that Ford and Mayhew are back, hearing that theme, it's pure 'Wars.

Yes that Falcon shot at the end glorious fantastic, some need to get a grip it's a teaser not the "trailer..and that's what it did tease. all I wanted to see was Han Solo and a shrewd move by them showing no original cast members..this feels and looks like star wars not the video game prequels.

This did the job well and wet the appetite for more. If you didn't love that Falcon shot then are you really a fan?

I geeked at the Falcon shot. I would like it better without the SE grill on the engines, but that's a nitpick.

I would have liked it better without the vomit inducing camera work. :)

Yeah, I've seen this electric design many times before. It's even used in Star Wars: The Old Republic (computer game). It'll be awesome to see it in the movie.

It's better than the Inquisitor's two lightsabers on a spinning wheel.

The cross-guards might be nothing more than for appearance. Many weapons have non-functional but intimidating features.

Those look really cool!

Pretty satisfactory teaser, if you weren't even a little impressed, you're useless as a pop culture fan.

That falcon shot was awesome, "oh boohoo my headz cant handle a littel kamera turn :monkey2".

Where? There was a little sun flare when the camera was pointing directly at the sun, but that's natural and it lasted nothing, there's not a single fake horizontal lens flare in the middle of the frame that JJ did so often with Star Trek.

Kinda feels like Star Trek was the beta test for Star Wars :lol

That's exactly what it was. If you've ever watched the behind the scenes for JJ's first Trek film he straight out says he was never a Trek fan and wanted to inject some Star Wars into the whole thing.

This is the movie JJ has always wanted to make.

My biggest issue - Tatooine AGAIN?!?
