Got my pre-order in. Left myself a big sticky on my computer monitor at work. Noticed it 10 minutes ago, went flying to the interwebs and scored. Can't wait to pair him with his counterpart. This duo is the most "must have" figure pair in my collection.

This should be the last 1/6th Star Wars figure ordered by me. The price was ridiculously high and there's no way I'll continue to pay the sure to rise prices for these toys.

Needed to complete the icon pair and bit the bullet... for now...

I'm kinda suprised they didnt go salicous crumb exclusive with this one. Seeing as r2d2 is set up 4 jabbas palace duty. I would have loved a salicous crumb with c3po head n eyeball hanging out.

I have a question for everyone. Who's gonna go standless on this guy? Neither the pistons nor fingers look like they'd enjoy a face-down fall.

I use fishing line to guard against standless falls.

I can see that being a new version later on... I'd guess it's possible we'd get a shiny one as well.

I put in a pre-order, but I'll either use a $20 off coupon on him or in a couple of months I should have enough RP to buy him outright.

Ordered. Had to resist using my last 30$ in reward points, trying to save those for the tie pilot. I don't worry as much about snapping the joints as much as not being able to move them at all. The shoulder on my ig88 still does not rotate, and I'm not going to risk busting it to get it to do so. i remember getting my first 3po as a kid and thinking he would break because the plastic was so tight, he still has stiff joints and I never did manage to break him no matter what I put him through.

Hey Rogue my city preds arm was stuck and did the boil water trick i'd try a hairdryer for a few minutes n gently try moving. Always heat up if stuck never force or try it cold.

Definitely 100% standless. I only have one figure on a stand now, Hot Toys Selina Kyle. She stood for months without one, but it's just too much a PITA to reset if she falls. I'll be incorporating the support part of the stand into my shelf base to to get of the excess plastic she's standing on.

But I'm not ordering until next November, after the next Spook. If I had to pay full price, I'd skip it - it's not worth $230 to me, not by a long shot.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, as far as this hobby goes, when I see pricing like this, and such barebones releases, it really makes me glad I'm sending money to companies like ThreeZero.

The hands are an awesome touch and overall the figure looks great - as I predicted, apart from price, it holds up visually very well against the Tama with some new tricks to boot. But damn, not even a stand? Could just be an oversight on the product listing.

That's a good idea. Might try that if I get a proper shelf for them. Right now they're scattered about. Couple on the desk, one on the shelf.

I really prefer the standless look but after Vader took a tumble i decided to leave him on the stand. Snowtrooper is manning the e-web so he's fine standless.
