People will want them. You may have to wait until the initial part outs dry up a bit, or just undersell them. If I knew that you were buying the whole set and selling Bruce and Alfred in the first place, I wouldn't have ordered the armory and just bought the figures off of you.

If I was affected by these delays, and not getting any communication from SSC, I would post a thread in the General section entitled 'Have Sideshow gone out of business?' They deserve that for the way they appear to be screwing people around. This company doesn't appear to care about communicating with paying customers, only when people start to avoid them will things change - look at Ryanair, they've suddenly woken up to the fact that treating people like **** means you eventually run out of customers.

I also find it astonishing that in America, of all places, one company appears to have such a monopoly on the high-end collectibles market. This is what happens when there's no competition.

I'm just to the point that i don't even care when i receive it now, as long as it shows up whenever. I was truly excited for this week thinking i would have the set by this time but i guess things didn't work out that way.

It's still worth the wait. Its a really cool, really fun set to mess around with. But it is a crappy feeling when you feel strung along on something you've been waiting for.

A couple weeks ago, I got an e-mail saying that this would be shipping soon.

On Oct. 29, Sideshow charged me. A week later, the order still says "Shipping Soon."

WTF? They've been holding $500 for something that they still haven't sent yet? Are they going to be paying me interest on this money?

My complete set got delivered today. It took me more than an hour to carefully put all of the gadgets and the "empty" configuration batsuit into the armory. Seriously how many sticky bomb guns does Batman need? He's got more of those than grapple guns (which he also has too many of) with this set. It's a little ridiculous. Still it looks cool when everything is loaded up.

Hot Toys has GOT to make a 1989 Batsuit vault w/Michael Gough Alfred and Steve Jobs-attire Bruce Wayne. I can't imagine it would be much harder for them to do than this set was.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I just skimmed the last 60+ pages and didn't come across anything.

I know everything (face-plates, heads, neck-posts, etc.) is compatible with both DX12 & armory bodies, but is there a difference in color? The only comparison shot that I've come across so far was Xeno's and it's hard to tell from that one pic.

Is this also a completely improved cowl? (another retarded question that I'm sure has been answered 100 times). I didn't follow straight thru from the beginning but they look very different in Xeno's pic

From a quick comparison, the new suit's black armor parts are slightly shinier in hand compared to the DX12 and the carbon-like parts are a tad more transparent, so the structure inside is more visible.

Don't think your questions are fool or anything btw. As far as I know the cowls have the same shape, just the eyes are differently painted (or are they also smaller??) In any case it makes a massive difference.

did you watch Xeno YouTube video ( post number 6412).... he makes a great comparison between dx12 and armory... around 3:27 time frame of the video... The suit look different from dx12.. color-wise.

Why? Merchants have up to a month to ship an order. Longer if it's explained as pre-sale or backorder (in such a case you will usually have a cancellation window).

So last week Sideshow was running Spooktacular and likely did insane levels of business, causing them to be extremely busy. Cut them some slack (here in the forum and via email). This is part of every day business. When I order something from Amazon it's a minimum of 1 week before anything is ever shipped - no exceptions (I don't have Prime).

Hey, people are excited about getting a new product, that's cool. But some of the recent comments have been showing some signs of anxiety/panic, not excitement or anticipation. Relax. It's coming. These aren't documents you have to present to your boss tomorrow morning.

Sideshow typically ships relatively quickly. I can't think of a company that doesn't have instances of delayed shipping ever. What Sideshow might do is send more regular updates. But when their stuff is stuck in customs, there's really nothing more they can tell you because they may not know themselves.

One way to possibly lessen the likelihood of something like this happening is to only order when something is in stock and ready to ship. Don't pre-order. The charge dates are baked into their database and scheduled to coincide with stock availability based on incoming shipments. Sometimes stuff happens at the last minute and the whole system can't be delayed. No one's losing money here.

I was charged Wednesday and I still haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. I checked my order history from last year, and all of my Avengers, plus Joker 2.0, were charged and shipped the same day. It's just odd that lately customers are getting charged and having to wait over a week to get their items shipped. It wouldn't hurt to wait until the item is in-hand before taking payment.

Not to mention they arbitrarily shipped out other people's full sets already. If they haven't received all the stock, don't pick and choose who you process and who you don't. Wait to receive all of it, then process them together on the same day like you said you were going to do on the 28th.

I personally messed up by paying them in full months in advance. In the past, they'd ship out my order as soon as they received stock. That was my own damn fault for assuming that mine would go out since I had already paid. Whatever. But the people that they just charged on the 28th, but didn't ship their order to them? That's not right. Don't charge until you have the stock to back it up. They never did this before until recently.

Here's kind of an odd question. Has anyone tried putting the old MMS71 Dark Knight suit in the armory with the empty cowl? I know it can't hold a candle to the new suit, which is why I'd like to display the new suit as a full figure. I thought the old rubber suit might make a good filler for the armory as it will be in the background. Just curious if this will work. I'm planning on trying it when I get the Armory next week.
