Very interesting that Tamshii have back-flipped on Vegetto's appearance. He was Super Saiyan at the SDCC display, if I'm not mistaken. I hope this means we'll be getting both options, rather than one or the other. Tamashii have royally screwed us in the past, not offering dual transformations. Let's hope that Trunks' release was to set a new precedence for future releases!

If anything he'll be the sdcc ex, just as a way to make him available for when Kid Buu hits late next year which Pwn teased us about). God won't be an american exclusive as japan has as much if not perhaps more interest in it than we do.

Apparently, this Goku is part of a new series called "Figuarts ZERO EX"...with the "EX" meaning "extra large" or "extra" or whatever. These "figures" (statues, more like it) clock in around 1/8th scale (9 inches or so).

Looks like larger statues for the ZERO series.

Cool beans. I collect MSP and those are about 1/8. So I'm definitely gonna get this new line. The regular figuarts zero is too damn small. Can't wait!

Considering Vegetto has the same exact body sculpt/mold as all the other Gokus for years now, and a SSG Goku would require an all new mold due to the "slimmer" muscle mass, I'm not expecting to see a Figuarts version anytime soon

Unless they just make a new head & recycle the body mold again which is just as likely/lazy.

Hey hey hey.... hey..... they added brand new gloves and boots to the sculpt okay? We got brand new gloves boots on a four year old sculpt, how dare you criticise them!

Also, the headsculpt looks more like Vegeta than goku to me, where the source material looks a tad more like goku than vegeta imo.

Vegito does look more Vegeta than Goku there. Gogeta looks more like Vegeta, but Vegito looks more like Goku.

I never understood why Gotenks looks the way he does, his hair, aside from color looks like neither of the two kids.

Shouldn't Super Vegito's face resemble Goku? I feel that could be the loophole to finally having a Super Saiyan Goku face with a smile.

Interesting post I found from timone317 on the other Dragon Ball Z S.H. Figuarts forum...

I asked one of the Jacksdo resellers on eBay if they had heard anything about the SS2 Goku hair part. They didn't say anything about it but they did give this interesting info.

"Hi, we have news about the normal head for goku's son, not the ss2 head"

Well it should be just a straight repaint of the SS1 head, just hope they add all the faces. At the very least add the stern and smiling one. I know the hair is slightly dif but just saying it will work. We cant be too picky haha. But if they do it to the T then more power t them ...........just hope the color matches the SDCC version

Vegito does look pretty mighty in that last photo. I might buy one and display him with black hair cause I once bailed on buying a vegito in a store and regretted it.
