If I'm not mistaken that was right after San Diego Comic Con was over, so yeah a lot of people cancelled on this statue because after seeing the new statues their priorties shifted. I know a lot of people said they cancelled their WW PF so they could put the money towards the Court of the Dead statues.

I doubt it. This statue is killer. The statue at SDCC was a production piece and looked like the prototype.
