GAAAACK! Pretty much EVERY other SS product looks better at the con than the online photos. This looks worse, much worse.

Pretty telling that SS doesn't even believe in it, as they are slashing the ES rather than just cutting the initial production short. Orders for this must be Rick O'Connell level bad.

A completely new PF piece in the near future i doubt. Maybe just transform this piece into Evil Superman.....like they did with the stormtrooper-blachole.
I would dig an evil PF version, but not by this sculpt.

No doubt about it being a long shot, but with orders for this piece potentially bottoming out, as we're all speculating, SS is leaving a lot of money on the table with this license. And THIS gives me some hope:

Dirty up the figure, change the dam to a hull, and the water to oil and it would have been a pretty decent idea for an Evil Superman PF.

Yeah maybe, but its not any notable differences in Reeves superman suit (besides evil supes). So it may be a bigger chance for Clark Kent, wich is just about to rip out his suit But i do want him with another sculpt in his all suit glory.

I think in this photo by THX you can see that. However I have never seen a piece that needs so many photos to get the "right" one... Not to mention that the rest of the piece looks like a mess (IMO). But SSC has time to fix these other issues (S sewn on the chest, sloppy cape attachment, better tailoring).

Only thing is that all the sculpts were good and all of them sold well... I hope you a right and that SSC see the money that they are leaving on the table.

Ok watching this video I gotta believe that SSC is not done with this... If they are then this is IMO one of the worst PF they have ever done. Perhaps the worst... Even if you like the head sculpt and don't mind the pose.... Everything else about the body and tailoring is awful... Just look at the S on the back of the cape... It can't be a finished product... If that is what you guys are getting... ouch.. Normally I would not make a big deal of something on the back that you will never see but that is just the icing on the cake after looking at the S on the front..

Perhaps SSC is just setting everyone up for a big surprise... Make the average looking PF lool so awful when the final product comes in people will be blown away...

It's just weird... SSC is on top of their game and this looks like something they would never produce.

It's usually a slight down grade when we get the final product from SS.

This Superman PF does look better in the video than the photos.

The video makes the head sculpt/paint master look better than the pics (still not enough Reeves for me personally) but it also highlights how awkward the pose is. Has the base/chess piece been altered slightly?i
