Pic looks nice Surly, think you could show that Trunks using one of the official faces? Like a yelling one.

I think the nr one reason why I dislike kid Trunks is because his mentor isn't Gohan. I love the idea of Vegeta's son being trained by Goku's, it's such a brilliant juxtaposition.

It's a great story touch, sort of subtle. Two huge enemies/rivals, and yet their sons get along like brothers - Future Gohan even calls Future Trunks 'bro'. I wish that Future Trunks bonded with regular Gohan though, I feel like that would have been so neat. Heck, Trunks bonds with everyone else. I'd say, maybe it's since he never knew them in his timeline, which would make sense, but he did know Gohan. Bulma is the exception since it is his mother.

Oh also on the note of Vegeta, 9001x TIMES YES! That bootleg will help but man, I need the real deal.

Here's some pics. The official faces look better but don't fit very well. As you can see the jacksdo trunks head is carved out pretty specifically for the one face. I am thinking of painting the jacksdo eyes all white, since the green pupils aren't done very well anyhow.

I also just noticed that the Normal Vegeta I got from a seller in Italy (had original receipt too from Italian store) doesn't have any sort of stickers, which I thought was odd.

Those flame effects are imo tamashiis best effects yet. I have a plan for them but I'm not sure whwn I'll be able to achieve it.

@fslar I would've liked it f goten hadn't existed and normal gohan had ended up training trunks in secret because vegeta's ****ing up parenthood.

Imagone tht scene where he trains videl, but t'd been trunks instead of goten. Goten's like babidi, completely redundant. The buu saga has great moments and great designs but the character usage is so damn poor. It's just abysmal really.

Goten was pretty poor, just a worse Kid Goku. Solely exists for Trunks and Gotenks. Kid Trunks isn't too bad imo, it's interesting to see how different he is from his Future counterpart. Babidi...awful too, but story wise it is a little interesting. I guess he's kinda there like Dr. Gero, a reason for the antagonist to be awakened.

At the very least, Kid Trunks has a good respect for Gohan, I like that. The two of them play and have fun, and I could see Gohan being like his older brother because at the time Trunks has no siblings.

@ Surly, ahh man. That's a shame...it makes sense that it wouldn't fit that well, but at least it's only noticeable from the sides. Thanks though for the pictures, gonna keep that in mind when/if I get my own Trunks.

What I never understood is, how is Babidi the son of Bibidi, when Bibidi was alive causing havoc with Buu a million years before the start of DBZ? Does that mean Babidi is millions of years old or something?

Hmm, the real trunks faces fit really well on my jacksdo head, just as well as the real heads actually. Maybe a QC thing?

Also, the recent second Vegeta I got (also from italy, incidentally) also doesnt have a toei sticker. There isnt any fakes other than ssj Vegeta though so maybe just something they do to figures imported to there?

I heard he was more so a part of Bibidi instead of his child actually and that at his death, Bibidi transferred all his power into Babidi.

Which Vegeta? Scouter Vegeta has loose legs, and datong Vegeta is quite bad with loose limbs in general.

my gohan sdcc doesnt have a sticker either, and in fact he has the best quality out of aqll of them so i doubt its a bootleg.

Yeah Scouter Vegeta has the loose leg defect in all of them released, so don't feel bad. also i believe every Scouter has that little scratch on the lens too.

if anyone's wondering SDCC Vegeta doesn't suffer from any of these defects

Are you allowed to private message a eBay seller to see if they'll sell you something at a specific price if the item is on sale in an auction?

Or is that only for Best Offer listed items? That would make sense.

I'd have to think that the next saiyan, well I guess other than Broly and Vegito, would have to be Majin Vegeta. I can't imagine Nappa, and sadly Raditz as well, until mid-to-late 2016.
