Guys Simply Toys is the largest distributer of collectibles in SG. They are reputable and their communication from my experience was stellar start to finish. I didn't have any issues with my XM Cap and I got a helluva deal from them. I also got the coin. They are the largest retailer distributer for XM . They will have a fair amount of Mags available for order with coins.

Now heed my advice guys. If you are interested in this statue don't screw around. Get your order in because this will be gone soon. I knew this was going to go fast but I don't think any of us realized just how fast.

The price is going to range from the retail quotes you see right on XMs official website. Shipping is going to cost around $300 U.S. maybe a bit more. Maybe a bit less. Their shipping cost varies from week to week. Base your shipping off of that and you'll have a pretty good indicator of how much this statue will cost to get delivered to your doorstep.

Don't want to see a single freak miss out on this that wants one so get to it if the price is one you can swallow.

I wouldn't doubt Mark or Kenny getting their hands on more of these possibly but if this takes off as quick with Simply Toys as it has with other retailers I wouldn't bank on it. Don't miss out because you were trying to save 30 or 40 bucks. You'll be kicking yourself in the tail later

I agree. However if Bbts puts it up for $650 or so, it wouldn't be $30 bucks you save, it would be closer to $200 or $300, since $650 US is the price before shipping from SG. Sure it will cost $30-60 to shop from bbts, but that is a HUGE price difference.

Now... How does simply toys do preorders? I've never used them. Is it full pay up front or deposit or full pay on arrival?
 
No more pussyfooting around. Ordered!! Hopefully I get a coin. They said they will be giving preference to people who already ordered an XM statue... don't love that policy but hopefully I got in early enough for one.

It's not going to be 650 buddy. Retail on Mags is more expensive. Probably closer to 725 would be my guess. As for shipping yes with BBTS you will indefinitely win there but that's because they are getting their shipments sent by boat. Couple months delay. Still not a big deal as you'll save quite a bit on the total price. However where your going to struggle is knowing when they are going to put it up and how many they've been allocated. Are you guaranteed a coin? ST is up at a fair price for members which is easy to sign up for and no cost. If you order it tonight you've got a fair retail price and a coin as well.

Wasn't meaning to belittle the difference in price. That's was simply meant towards what your paying retail for this statue. Like 899 vs 840 SGD. Either way man you've got options . You'll get one buddy

The forum need a like button! Congrats, the important thing is you get the statue. Btw, Simply Toys is SGD $757 after tax is removed for international sale and member discount which you get once you put down deposit.

You really need to get off this "months beforehand" pedestal nonsense. Yes, we know, we could have preordered blindly without seeing final proto photos or knowing the price. But there's nothing wrong with people wanting to have something officially announced before ordering it. The way forum members here did preorders was highly unconventional. Again, good for you guys that did it. I wasn't comfortable doing that (which is not to say I am uncomfortable ordering from the forum members, I already ordered my Cap from Mark).

Anywho, glad I got one at simply toys. Will be curious to see what bbts price and allotment is.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled Y4NK33 repeating himself :)

Totally man. I imagine the BBTS will be closer to $700. As for the boat wait, I certainly wouldn't mind. I plan to keep these things long enough that when I am showing them off to my grandkids and their fancy "real live working robot toys" and holoooograms, the extra month or two wait wouldn't mean much. :)

:) Not happy to pay $250 right now, nearly drained my paypal account, but looking forward to getting this sucker... not looking forward to saving for it.

Yeah this is crazy. Should really give XM some confidence going forward. I bet their Phoenix will have a similar response, as will their Wolverine.

Oh cool! I did sign up for membership first, but didn't know tax would be removed.
 
So at current (paypal) exchange rates, if $757 SGD and $350 shipping is the price, to your door this is $915. Oh god, what have I done?! lol
