It definitely looks like a marvel sample. I picked up the EX Venom COM and it's a sample. It's numbered the same way (blank space in front of the edition run) and also has marvel sample on the bottom of the base.

Thank you guys for clearing that up. So Sideshow uses the designation "Marvel Sample" for APs. Was concerned it might be recast or something.
Pardon the grainy pic.

Is that image reverted? :) I aften hear/see APs and Samples shown off by certain members with certain connections. So it's not entirely unlikely, and I wouldn't be worried. It might even be a bit more worth than a regular piece.

Nice find on the Spidey. I've never seen a sample base like that. The one I have and others I've seen were marked Marvel/ and whatever ES after. Maybe it's changed up on the newer statues.

Yeah, the image must be reversed. Even the jagged lines on the base of the wall (by his lower foot) are completely reversed.

I don't know if they changed it up, but my EX Venom COM has the same markings on the base.

If this isn't a flipped picture then this is a completely unique sample statue that they flipped, but my guess is this is just a flipped picture.

Sorry the pic was flipped. No idea how it happened, must have pressed somethin:)

With Hot Toys being more and more the dominant part of my collection, I have finally decided to sell most of my statues. They are just taling up too much places and personally I enjoy a poseable Hot Toys more than a 1/4 statue. Nevertheless I appreciate the art that went into this wonderful statue and it is one of my favorites. Long story short: I am not sure if I should sell or not. I think it is all about the money. Can someone help me with a fair price for both parties? It is a regular with a decent but not perfect paintjob.

Thanks in advance brothers! :hi5:

Kind of unbelievable. But in a positive way. :lol

As has not been displayed but already out of box to inspect the paintjob. I think I can move on and display it in my cinema for some time to see if I want to keep it or sell it. Thanks guys! :duff

Well he is an amazing piece. I would definetly display him before you sell him though. You don't want to regret selling him as he is getting tricky to find.

Yup, but it might be a good time to sell. If the new Spidey comes out well, you can sell this and get the new one for free basically :)
