Still the best Loki, if only those gold beads had been a little more muted.
I don't know whether to pay the high prices or wait for the price to drop. Is that likely? I fear that if I don't get it now, I'll never get it.

Normally, an initial release might drop a bit when the new one comes out. But with HT making that ugly barsteward that is TDW Loki, this one has just gone up in price, lol...
Still, you could always buy TDW Loki, set fire to the headsculpt, and buy a replacement Avengers head.

If you wait until Thor 3, and a better Loki is released then the prices MAY drop, but if its not great they wont
no way to tell really, I'd say keep an eye out for a bargain and take it as soon as you see it

If you can manage with TDW Loki, get that one and a better headsculpt.
Haha. When i was putting together my civilian Avengers lineup, i spent $70 on an Avengers Loki head for my custom Stuttgart Loki about twelve hours before the Avengers bootleg heads went up for sale. I don't mind now, as it's better looking, but there's still loads of choice now, even with the bootlegs.

Will do, thanks for the advice. I'm kicking myself because one went on Ebay for £230 a few days ago. That's over a hundred less than what its going for currently.

I'd wait it out and keep an eye peeled, you'll find this guy for a fair price. You have tons of people with vision impairment thinking the new one is amazing, only a matter of time before they unload this for cheap.

I feel like all the avengers hot toys, except for Thor for some reason, will continue to creep up in price.
As much as I really really want this guy, I have to be sensible and spending over £300 on him will not go down well with the Mrs. I've only just got into Hot Toys and Star Lord is my first purchase but I have this obsession at the moment and Loki is spearheading that

Nah. That PVC will burn but not produce any serious heat, and more toxic fumes than anything else.
Better to throw them down a very deep hole.
