Who even says that "Darth Vader" isn't the evil version of Hayden Christensen? Maybe its an Anakin and Darth Vader DX set. Just not how you are thinking it would be.

Would look so awesome next to a HT Anakin figure and a mustafar diorama. Anakin and Obi-Wan from ROTS are probably my two most wanted Star Wars figures. Bring it on, Hot Toys!

That would be the DX set to end all Dx sets. 2 completely different figures. Can't see it happening.

It wouldn't be though it would be nice happy anakin and evil weathered darth vader version with yellow eyes and weathered tunic... Much like the Luke DX. Same figure... Different look.

I find it amusing that some think a HT Vader would, by default, be any more accurate than a Sideshow version. HT definitely produces high quality stuff, but accuracy is always a total gamble with them like it is with everyone else, including, but not limited to, scale.

Sure - HT isn't always hitting the mark either, but they're far closer on average than SSC ever is.

Their current Vader figure - while a nice toy, needs HEAVY modding to look right as far as anywhere near accurate goes.

It's a ****ing joke.

Well since they are doing Anakin, I really hope we get the Darth Vader Anakin before he got the suit. If they want to make a Darth Vader from the OT then I'd be happy.

Could you imagine the set if it was Anakin with swap out heads and Darth Vader in full armor? That would be the biggest DX set ever.

I have a feeling they're going to do Sith Lord Anakin and then crispy Anakin in the Vader suit. Throw in the table and some surgical droids. 12 interchangeable hands. Battle-damaged limbs and robot replacements. PERS in both heads. $500. Kaboom.

I'm sickened that we have to wait. Again. For more bloody useless interviews and rumours. This is the biggest license HT has had or ever will have, and they're still churning out Marvel.

usually only interested in 1/4 scale as the 1/6 stuff is just too small... but if ht makes a jedi council set and the bounty hunters from tcw in 1/6 i could get into it... i hope we have something to see soon...

It would be more like getting an unique Iron Man and a unique Tony Stark in a DX box.

I think you missed my point. What I am saying is it could be a DX set of Anakin and Darth Vader... not the armored up version. It would be Anakin in the beginning of Revenge of the Sith and "Darth Vader" which would be the battle damaged Mustafar version with yellow eyes and weathered clothing. It would not be too dissimilar to the Luke Bespin set.

I agree wholeheartedly. We were talking about armored Vader though?
HT said they were doing Anakin and obviously Darth Vader, not Anakin as Darth Vader. I 100% think Anakin with be like Luke Bespin DX, 2 bodies, Jedi/Mustafar sculpts. That makes complete sense.

I don't think a full armoured Vader would be part of a DX set with Anakin, but you know what? who gives a ****, it's gonna be another year before HT show anything.
