As much as I want 1 with a better color too, just because you want one doesn't me an that they should re-release it what bout those who already got him and want bandai to continue producing new figures with their limited time and slots, instead of spending the production facilities doing re runs for folks who missed out on certain figures.

That being said, Tamashii WILL make a 2.0 of popular items, even though they are exclusive - just like those kamen rider bikes battle hoppers. So it's not totally out of the question, but seeing that SS3 look isn't popular, I'd say the chances are slim.

Okay , you know what, new approach, here's my proposed line up for our new, post-sdcc info sideshow DBZ figuarts poll. (10 choice max, 1 vote.)

Majin Vegeta (with non-m faces) [opens door to ssj2 goku and other buu characters]
Nappa (confirmed to be armoured if at all) [Opens door to Raditz]
Kid Buu (Super Buu seems unlikely to me still)
Great Saiyaman (with a **** ton of heads)
Tien (bare chest with detachable green vest)
Armoured Trunks
Bojack Trunks
Saiyan/Namek saga Goku
1st form Cell
Bardock

2 saiyan saga characters, 1 saiyan/android hybride release, 2 android characters, 3 Buu era characters and 2 movie characters. Seems a fair spread to me.

I'm gonna leave this potential list here. Go to bed. Then tomorrow I'll hear any agreements or issues with it from you guys. I personally think these ten are the most warranted choices for figuarts releases next year. My personal opinion, taking into account poll results from the past on this site.

If people feel it should be multiple choice (unlimited choice) let me know.

Personally, I'd like to see Adult Gohan (in Purple outfit) before I see him as Great Saiyaman.

I'd scratch off Bojack Trunks...would like to see Armored or Re-release of the original before I see the Bojack version. I'd put Trunks Re-release in his place.

No Gotenks? Hate to say it, but I think he's pretty likely considering how he's a pretty big part of the Buu saga.

I'd like to see either Namek "Battle Damage" Regular Goku with the top of his orange gi off (leaving the blue undershirt, like when he's prepping to hit Frieza with his Spirit Bomb, perhaps with a SSJ headsculpt as well?) or "Namek Final Battle" SSJ Goku (shirtless with battle damage)

If you need another movie character, I'd put Cooler in there.

I think a ssj form of goku and vegeta should in some way always be available. That's the only principle stand I have regarding 'missing out'.

Good feedback bardoon, but from past statistics most of your choices seem minority choices. Great saiyaman beat ultimate gohan in popularity by a stretch so no way itll lose to purple gi gohan. Saiyaman is very popular and requested.

Reteleases aren't a topic of this poll, scratching off bojack trunks is fine but click the link I posted a few posts back and be amazed how many people wan gojack trunks he'd also serve as a good compensation if we get no rerelease.

Gotenks is a good one, simple as that, could do that.

I dont expect theyll ever make battle damaged releases anytime soon, but could add it.

Bardock trumps cooler, pretty sure of that.

Agreed. I get why they make Vegeta an exclusive and Goku not. In Japan, heroes are much more popular than villains. In America, the reverse tends to be true.

The first was just out of curiosity, the 2nd was to have an "Ascended SSj Trunks" figure in my display, and the third actually came with the 2nd for free, the seller must've made a mistake or something but we both didn't mind at all. Win-win

That's an awesome mistake. I thought I ordered the Ascended Super Saiyan Trunks head but I only bought Super Saiyan Vegeta. So if I buy a second one, I would most likely buy the one with Trunks' head unless they announce him. It looks pretty good.

I wonder if Tamashii is doing something odd with a potential re-release of SSJ Vegeta. Like maybe they have some sort of plans for him?

Regardless I'm still buying that bootleg at some point because I want a normal Android Saga Vegeta at some point.

You would think so but I'm not sure. If they didn't swoop and cash-in on the demand that Datong is, I can't imagine them doing anything at this moment.

I still can't believe the sideshow readers are almost exactly divided in what version of trunks and tien they want... I never expected that.

Bojack Trunks all the way, man. I can imagine the Saiyan armor Trunks first and then Bojack armor but sooner or later I want that Bojack Trunks as my main Trunks figure.

That's why I'm going back to get all of the villains. It's great to have the heroes but there's so many versions of them but there's only so few of the villains.

Well, back to photos, my meager display for the time being. This is the worst shelf for photographing lol. Looks great in the room, but it's in a corner and has a window right next to it. Always makes for bad photos.







I wonder if we'll ever get battle damaged versions of characters. Tattered and bloodied. Would be an easy way around the exclusive nonsense and people who already have the releases would still want a good battle damaged SS Vegeta and Trunks.

I'm still not clear on the popularity of gotenks and bardock on this forum.

Great Saiyanman stands out more and could come with some neat accesories. Fans of crossovers might also think he can join their Sentai teams. The main reason is because if they do an adult Gohan, he'll probably just be a new head slapped on Goku, so that can wait for me.

Same. Adult Gohan is great, never cared for Saiyaman much. LOVE Gotenks in SS form. Looks freaky to me in normal form... Bushy eyebrows on a child frighten me.

I think there's way too many costumes for Great Saiyaman where they would have to make two, maybe even three, versions. One with the helmet, one with the white bandanna and sunglasses, and another in Super Saiyan form. I can't imagine they would make all of that for one version without eliminating quite a lot of the costume.

For me it isnt saiyaman exactly, I like the saiyaman outfit with Gohans head and without the cape, looks more like a hybrid gi/saiyan suit that way. Either that form of Gohan or mystic Gohan for me, the blue gi always made him look scrawny.

Also, saiyan armor long hair Trunks, tied back hair please

This. Plus/ if great saiyaman comes with a regular head, you can just put the new head onto a Goku body and get the "Mystic" version.

We already 4 version of Goku's body mold being reused (regular Goku/ SS Goku/ SS3 Goku/ Vegito). Why do you want another one? Great Saiyaman can give you both just like Scouter Vegeta's regular head and crossed arms could also be used for SS Vegeta.
