How many 1/6 DC figures are Sideshow releasing, wearing Spandex suits?

Holy crap this is by far one of the funniest threads Lol

How about it has the wrong color scheme. Should be brown and orange, not brown and yellow.

This. And I actually prefer that scheme to the yellow/blue, personally.

Cool with them ditching the spandex too since it really doesn't look right unless the character is particularly beefy, but I really hope they tighten the neck and sleeves on Deadpool. Everything else looks great, but those areas make it seem like he's wearing a sweater. Just a little bit. Please?

Is spandex ever mentioned in the comics?

Probably not, since artists tend to portray superheroes in outfits that bear a closer resemblance to a nano-tech second skin, except were it would be anatomically liable to result in legal action against the publisher.
Spandex is the only viable material to try to replicate that in RL, but it is much thicker than the Comic 'suits' and so bunches at posed joints and also spends its entire time trying to unstretch itself.. so yes, 1/6 Batman or Superman may look ok wearing spandex in a museum pose (which I think is the point Prydonian is making).. but if that is the only pose that really works, what is the point of getting a 1/6 articulated figure? .. might as well get a fully molded, articulated figure, a Power Pose figure or a Statue, since then you will get a 'proper one' micro second skin.. of paint.

It's known as "unstable molecules fabric," courtesy of Reed Richards. :)

Me, I don't mind a little natural wrinkling at the joints, but I can understand how it could be bothersome.

"Virtually indestructible, yet it breathes like Egyptian cotton. "

Does this mean I'm going to have to buy another Captain America figure? Seems if they only do a handful that he would be one of them.

Ok, because I understand illustration and comics, but I've always thought that representing Superheroes in live action wearing spandex doesn't look very good - certainly not believable at all. It's a big complaint I have with Superman, but I certainly let it slide with the Hot Toys Reeve figure because it's just an amazing throwback to my childhood movie fandom. I'm liking the outfits on the new Marvel line. Not a fan of the abnormal teeth nor jaw line on Wolverine, but I could live with it.

Very excited by these! I hope they are doing a Dr. Doom, if that's the shadowed character to the far right in the promo vid. Fingers crossed SSC goes deep into this line!

I can't wait to see a decent Captain America. Maybe based in Brubakers art? Or a classic Perez Beast?

I wonder if Miracleman is possible since Marvel is publishing him now?

Love the Wolverine, except for the portrait. if it comes with multiple expressions like batman, as rumored, i will put down $200 without complaint. would be nice to have an unmasked head as the exclusive.
There're plenty of characters i'd like to see done, but the ones i think would actually work the best as 1/6 figures that make my wish list:
Omega Red
Bishop
Moon Knight
Doc Ock
Nick Fury
Cable
Dan Ketch Ghost Rider
Deathlok

Everyone else I could take it or leave it. Agree 100% on needing 1/6 at least
