I'm willing to wait until retail release IN HAND for final judgement. They do seem to have him set up rather...retarded? I really think the cloth cape ruins this figure though. A cloth tunic would be fine, but the cape should've been molded plastic that fits on and 'drapes' perfect with an idle pose. But hey, what do I know?

Luke and Wampa and Han and Taun Taun. Guess they are really going deep into this line.

Nice, cool to see new stuff. Han looks...ok, Luke, Wampa and Taun Taun look good. Troopers and Bossk look awesome.

After yet another disappointing 4" panel, it clearly looks like Hasbro wants all collector to shift their attention toward 6" line and focus the 4" line on kids with minimal articulation.
Having no intention to start collecting the same figures all over again just 50% larger, it looks like my Hasbro days are counted. Bright side of the story being that i can save even more dow for my 12" collection. HT coming to a galaxy far, far away, this might help in the not too distant future.

Hasbro needs to step up their paint apps - look at the Vintage 3 3/4" paint job on bossk and then look at this proto - the 3 3/4" is a significantly better paint job

That Wampa would have been great for the 3 3/4, especially in Vintage packaging. That's too bad.

Only new 6" figures that interest me at SDCC is Bossk and Han Stormtrooper. Everything else is meh. A lot of them look like 3 3/4 figures, especially the Hoth sets. I wouldn't know they were 6" if I didn't see the joints.

The Hoth stuff doesn't look good. Have you seen the Tie pilot, best of the lot IMO.

The 4' line has become so pathetic it is sad. I'm glad I got out of Hasbro years ago because all this would just depress me. Terrible terrible looking products and they continue to charge too much for them.

News flash Hasbro, kids don't want figures with just 5 points of articulation.

Ok, so this picture kinda sums up how I feel about the 6" line: blown up 3 3/4" figures

So, when did Han smile like that during the hoth scenes? was it when he was looking for Luke, thinking he might be dead? or when Vader and his imperial buddies were breaking into the Rebel base? Hmm......see, this is what's wrong with Hasbro. Someone decided Han should be smiling....argh!!!!! And the detail looks 'ok' it has a bit of a soft appearance, and that blue is just way too dark looking. This line has almost a stylized look to the figures now - I don't like it. Tie Pilot looks to be the best of the bunch, and even that looks a little stylized to me

Too right about the Wampa - I've been wanting that for a long time. That said - minus the blood, I like this new 6" Wampa. Tauntaun looks good too. Han & Luke do look like the smaller ones, but, ehh..

Bossk looks great too. That sculpt puts the SSC one to shame.. funny that. Happens a lot with SSC & Hasbro. :lol

Also good to see they used the Sandie helmet for Stormie disguise Han - much better sculpt than the 'bald cap' Stormie sculpt they've got running.

..& Matt S - the 4" VTSC Bossk is one Hasbro's finest 4" SW figures to date. :rock

Yeah, the 4" Bossk is a work of art - a lot of may be due to the paint apps; I remember looking at the detail in his mouth and just thinking, 'wow'

This 6" look 'ok' to me. The paint apps are the weak point from the look - too simplistic, no wash, no dirt of any kind. And to be clear, I do not want to be a hater. I love my classic collection and some key pieces from the Modern line, like 4" bossk, or Hoth Snowspeeder Luke that has a DEAD ON Mark Hamill likness imo.

The Hoth stuff look decent - the sculpts look a little too toy like for my tastes; the more I see this line, the more they seem just like blown up 4" versions. I guess I was hoping that with the larger scale and price point, we would get more sophisticated sculpts and weathering detail.
