It's not just the likeness I'm liking, it's the emotion captured by the expression. I look at this and see Ripley. I really wanted to like BTTF Marty, but I look at that figure in comparison and see a nice looking doll.

Agreed. It's the young wide eyed, slightly overwhelmed & almost betrayed looking Ripley that discovers what the ****'s really going on when she accesses Mother's log & starts to realize that things are going to get very bad, very soon.

Really nice improvement there. Small things here and there brought out the likeness a lot.

Yeah much better. I knew that the SDCC heads were rushed for the Con. I think I mentioned that in a prior post. No way HTs would stay with that old one even as a prototype. The is still something a little offf though. Lower Cheeks? Something. So much better, it's her. Even the hair is a hefty improvement.

Totally, the hair actually looks good to me now - & I hate that rooted hair look.

Well I was out of 1/6th, but as a mahoosive Alien fan I have to get this. Oh, and the new sculpt is a huge improvement. I'm sure by the time it's out HT will have nailed it. Hopefully they won't stick with the rubber arms though.

As others have said the hair is much better aswell on the new prototype. I'd be happy with the final figure if it looked like that.

Woah, that updated head sculpt is a huge step forward! Totally fixed the eyes. HT's sculpting team evidently haven't been idle after all. Don't see they won't have the likeness nailed when it gets to final approvals.

Absolutely, this ten times over. The expression really sells it, right now I hope it ships with a final version of this as the main head sculpt.

I still think that this new head sculpt is a bit to long but its very close and very realistic looking. I look forward to having her to accompany my big chap

But that's how she looks all the time...it's accurate. The hair is still a giant mess though

This hasn't been announced yet nor do we know when they will. They showed a bunch this past week, might take a while for them to get around to announcing this.

There have been a few pieces at the Con I like and might get but this is a must have! The new head looks great.
