Spiderman 9/10

What a beautiful and inspiring superhero movie, I didn't remember how good this was, sure it's got some minor circumstantial flaws, but nothing that takes away from the enjoyment.

This movie has real characters that you care so much for, and the action is pretty good too, I liked ASM2 a little bit, but, the new trilogy just doesn't have the soul and heart this one has, it's very bland in comparison.

"You're not Superman, you know?"

"Don't tell Harry"

Damn, so good :clap

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. 7.5/10

Amazing visuals and a decent watch but something was lacking for me.

Confessions of Murder (KR) - 7/10

Very corny at parts but that added to the enjoyment and the twist was completely unexpected.

Every time I see this thread updated, I'm getting a not-so-subtle hint that I should watch the new POTA movie…

While I'm here… Spider-Man (all of them) 5/10 or less. 1/10 for #3 of the first series. And I *LOVE* Spider-Man, easily one of my all time favorite super heroes, it's a sort of battle for #1 in fact. Haven't seen the latest, but the previous, while watchable was disheartening. I really can't stand Garfield in the role at all. Nothing about the Peter Parker character works at all.

Tell me about it. I had really high hopes. Now my only hope is that *Sony* eventually gives the license back to Marvel - but I won't hold my breath.

EDIT: Corrected "Sony" instead of "Fox"

Sony has the rights.

Fox is making magic with X-Men currently

Sorry, got those reversed. Both studios produce sub-par superhero movies, IMO. Maybe the next Spider-Man reboot will be different.
