Has anybody noticed cracks developing in the rubber if the figure has been kept in its packaging since purchase?

Hold on hold on, I just been checking his pictures, they are the neca Ed yeah? https://www.facebook.com/toyhq/post...t=0&total_comments=15¬if_t=feed_comment_reply

I just looked again, apparently they are from the first HT Ed, this guys got me confused, now he say he wanted to see who the first to notice would be :slap wow Im lost, the guys barmy.

This is ridiculous, were those pictures suposed to be some kind of a joke?! :cuckoo:

As far as I am concerned they have the worst customer service I encountered so far.
I bought DX13 from them last year, it took them 45 days to ship it from the day they asked full balance for it (as it was suposed to ship in a few days), with close to no communication from their part in the meantime (it takes about a dozen emails before you get a short uninformative response from them).
And after they redesigned their web page, all my account info, including paid deposits on open orders was lost. It took some explaining on my part to convince them that I paid my deposit on ED and Robo BEFORE they increased the order price so I could be guarenteed the price that was valid when I made the order.
They have my depostit for ED and Robo from May last year, and after that I am done with them.

Very strange, and yes I don't think I will be shopping with them either.

It's a joke. That's Kenner ED-209 that ToyHQ.co.uk is using.

I see that, it's just that I am missing the joke part about it... but hey, maybe it's just me...

DiFabio means 'joke' in a bad way.. the photos on ToyHQ.co.uk's Facebook page claiming to show an MMS204 in perfect condition.. are actually of an ancient Kenner version of the ED209, not the Hot Toys product at all!
:thud:

Not so much looking for MISB, just like the retro look of it.

Not sure what the pricing for loose is now.. I haggled with someone on eBay over a Kenner ED209, a few months before the Neca and Hot Toys figures were announced.. all I remember is, he wanted a lot more for it, than I was prepared to pay.. apparently if the cap firing mechanism still works, it increases the price.
:dunno

Yeah, I offered a guy like £40 for one that was in real good condition with intact box but he declined. He ended up getting like £30 when bidding ended. Kenner and Kotobukiya versions are what I'm looking for at the moment.

Ok it's official. I have done what Rorywan and others have recommended, I used a magnifying glass and yep, I see cracks developing all along the front. I am CERTAIN that everyone has this issue. Regardless of the cause this is wrong and completely irresponsible of Hot Toys. They must amend this travesty. I am going to find a lawyer who will class action lawsuit this ********.

I still don't see any cracks on the dome. I see the possible beginnings of peeling away from the frame on the edges, just as is happening with my old ED. And I see one suspicious area on the neck.

Will someone please make a youtube clip or a GIF of that woman in JAWS saying ''I don't think that's funny, I don't think that's funny at all, I'm sorry''.

So many times I've wanted to use that.

I know what it is. After researching many prop photos, I can see the same hair line cracks in the original puppet and 1:1 prop. Hot Toys is just being as movie accurate as possible! Good show Hot Toys! Jolly good show!

I think that was a reasonable offer, especially now the Neca figure is available.. tbh, I think that release means the Kenner, is pretty much only going to appeal to Vintage collectors.
