Happy to report a flawless and beautiful superman. I'll spare the pics as this thread had been flooded with far better ones then I would supply. To all my fellow freaks waiting on this still.... be patient, he is worth the wait. Everything about this statue wreaks of awesome. Defintely like the regular portrait better then the ex. It is so nice to have a Superman of this caliber problem free. Great work SS. You have done well

Congrats man! Glad you have no issues!
Thanks brother!

Quick note to the freaks getting this. When I set him up I used plastic wrap around the portrait and front of the statue. Easy fix for red marks. The Cape is not as bad as I've heard. Just got to twist the cape in like the instructions show with the wrap and you'll be all set.

Grats tavegg, it's definitely a keeper in my collection. The Regular portrait is one of the best sideshow has ever produced in my opinion and the factory paint job on it really makes it stand out.

Dude, I WAS REAL CAREFUL. And yes I do have steady hands. Lol

It's a process that's for sure but the thought that went into assembling him this way is pretty incredible. The way the shirt fits over the front of Supes neck to hide the seam. The cape covers perfectly in the back. The portrait is phenomenal as well . It's just a very well done statue.

Yeah, I think they should have done something similar with Bats honestly. It would have decreased a bit of the elongated neck syndrome.

Thanks man. Agree completely. I don't know why I didn't notice better in pics but your absolutely right about the portrait . Lot of shading and color in the face. It's Defintely a breath of fresh air from SS. This DC line has been fantastic

I like the ex head with the worms on it. He looks mean and ready to rumble. Overall very good! Now all we need is the amazon warrior to complete this trio. I still love how the box was so much smaller than batman. Makes storage much easier. I guess I could always use more boxes as a base for my newer coming statues. Lol

Would these work if they are set away from a statue? Wouldn't the moths just fly to the fabric of the statue instead? Btw the superman arrived today. The box is so much smaller than batman which is great! I have not open it up yet due to work. Maybe tomorrow night.

Moth balls are usually used for clothing and are put in drawers or closets are very effective.

Thanks, but will they work nearby to kill the moths if I put them in the corners away from my statues? I can't leave the moth balls on the floor because of my dog. I could put some on top of the cabinets or on near my statues where the dog can't reach them.

Lol keep screens on your windows and don't leave your doors open and your moth problem is solved. Windows and doors are there for a reason. I don't have any bugs in my house cause I don't invite them in be leaving **** open

Agreed I have cracks where the screen door meets the wood. I tape around the open spaces but they still find ways in. I'm sure I missed some spots. They also spread like crazy in dried spoiled foods in my cabinet when I didn't realize it until it's too late. But I have a bug light zapper. Will they go for the zapper? It works on flies and other flying insects. I will check my statues more often at least this time. Can't afford to have them bite into the fabrics.

I think they will go fir the zapper like moths to a flame. The only thing is that those zappers make bugs explode and you get bug guts splattered all over, which is why those are usually placed outside.

Majestic.
