Saw the new trailer today and man this new Shredder is like a damn Transformer. Super Shredder was ok but this new one takes the piss a bit I feel.

The real Shredder (minus the cartoon version) -

You sure that isn't Michael Jackson in that glittery costume?

To this day I still can't find a reason why his freaking helmet was so damn big, like a bobble head

I am vehemently in the camp of 1990 holds up incredibly well.

But I will, to be fair (somewhat) to my initial hate of everything I've seen for Baytles - the initial trailer for 1990 was suspect.

Yeah, the Turtles were on point, but almost every single voice was horrendous. Heavy-to-the-point-of-almost-racist original Shredder's Asian accent, what I assume must have been temporary vocals for all the turtles, and (worst of all) the atrocious stand-in delivery of the "God, I love being a turtle!" line. Other than the terrible vocals, the trailer was just filled with nothing to indicate the movie would be any good, save for the turtle suits.

So while I still have zero interest in the new version, I can definitely admit the original trailer kind of sucked.

(in retrospect, mind you - kid me had a kid boner for this trailer)

Yes I love how fun this movie looks and the original tmnt trailer was sorta silly but damn those suits still hold up today. It aged fine and has that 80s feel. I love it. So many childhood memories with that movie.

That trailer looks like a parody of a real movie :lol

Kind of reminds me of how they made Meet the Spartans for 300 lol, Like if a real turtle movie came out and this was the parody done a year later. :rotfl

The last trailer wasn't bad. I personally like Shredder's armor....it's all the knives that kill it for me.

I'm wondering since Michael bay's name just took another huge hit with TF4, will his name diminish interest in the turtles movie even more than it already has been?

Well, did T4 did a huge hit financially as well as critically?

How'd it's box office do? If it makes a butt-load of money nobody will care about it's RT score all the kids will need to buy the toys and it will help the ninja turtles.

the Joker is not a bad guy, He's just ahead of the curve :wink1:
