The one on the left looks like Twiki from the 80s Buck Rogers TV show, painted black. :lol

Welcome to the addiction.

Thanks bud. I was injected with the SSC virus in 2010. I bought all of Jabba's palace. I was working in the oil fields in North Dakota from 2011-2012 and bought every OT figure Sideshow had. I had a awesome display. However, when I got hurt, and couldn't work, I had to sell most of my collection. I held in to the Jabba set, but sold everything else. Now that I am back in North Dakota with a stable job, I am slowly building my display back.

Did anyone buy two Vaders? I'm thinking about getting another one to display him with the Anakin head scalp. Must resist.

Simple answer: No, not standing upright.

More words: You can squeeze him in there but it's too tight and won't look good standing up. If you plan to kneel him however, then you'll be fine.

Simple (correct) answer: yes he does, and he looks great. (you can see the head clearance he has from the green superman crystal on the shelf above).

You must have gotten the short Vader or a different Detolf with taller selves. Mine, unmodified, on the stand, is around 15" tall. I don't call this "fit" in terms of shelf display, when the space between the middle (not top or bottom) glass shelves on a Detolf is a hair (like 1/64) over 15.25"

So yeah, technically 15 is smaller than 15.25. But the short answer for this subject is still "no" IMO. It will look less than stellar. Not exactly what I'd do to a $250 figure. It'd be the same thing as saying a life-size Stormtrooper fits inside a high school locker. Or Sideshow's Dewback in a Detolf - yeah it will "fit" just fine. ;)

But in case anyone wants to make this compromise, note that the bottom shelf (the base) has the most clearance at 15 5/8" while the top has the least at just under 15 1/8" - that said, if you lift your Detolf off the floor (why would you not?) the top shelf makes for the best display because you'll be looking upward at the figure instead of having his head covered by one of the lower shelves.

I changed the mask for a light plastic non moulded one. And futzed him quite a lot.
The mask makes a big difference though.
The helmet dome looks less 'bulbous' too.

The dome - plus the beedy lenses & the face cover, are things that l think they executed poorly with the Snowy.
