me: Hi, im a little worried because I've seen a couple of pictures of the nathan drake figure from uncharted and it doesn't look like the prototype at all, the head looks bigger and the paint look way bad. The thing that worries me is that I have pre ordered the snake plissken figure because im a huge fan and im planning on pre ordering the Han Solo Hoth figure and I will be crushed if it turns out the same

Hmm, I will have to ask Toy Hunters tomorrow if this Returns policy is applicable to them too. As for the Play arts Kai Nathan above, mine turn out pretty good straight out of the box. Not as bad as teh one shown above. Play Arts figures are very hit and miss, their QC is up there with some of the other worse companies.

This is just terrible... I feel so bad for you fans of Uncharted and that have been waiting for this. In return you get this piece of ass. I would hope it would look better in person but damn those photos of the head sculpt are so bad.

PAK Drake does look kinda bad in person, and I feel it's probably since they wanted to make him dirty intentionally...and he looks far worse than just dirty (due to being in a desert, cause the rest of the figure has a dirty finish from many pics) but it beats this thing. Hell it even comes with 3 weapons. THat said, detailing on PAK Drake isn't the worst though. His ring, arm hair etc. isn't bad. Face sculpt is bad, but still worse than SSC. I'm kinda glad I didn't sell my PAK for the SSC pos

I wrote in my reason for cancellation that the sculpt looks awful and that they should look for a new manufacturer/painter to supply the heads.

The sculpt was an epic fail. Everything else looks good.

Would it have made a difference if Sideshow solicited this figure as Mr. Magoo's illegitimate adventurer son Nathan Magoo instead of Nathan Drake?

I don't see why you shouldn't man. Uncharted is a great game, and it is likely to have more collectibles down the road now that part 4 has been announced. I love the game too, just not enough to purchase this abomination.

That head looks like ass and the body isn't worth having if there aren't any decent Drake head sculpts to put on it.. I'd totally cancel if I had pre-ordered it.

I did when I cancelled mine over the weekend, but unlikely Sideshow will acknowledge any/all such comments.

The bottom line is that they produced a 1:6 figure and demand/expect customers to buy it regardless of issues. They want our $. That's the bottom line. If we cancel, then it'll end up being sold to someone else who don't know any better or care.
