I don't remember Noob dying. Well I don't remember most of them lol ill have to look it up.

I love Reptile....but I kind of hope he sits one out or is not an unlocked character right off that bat. I like when it feels like a treat to play as him.

I loved Reptile's moveset in mk9 but I want human Reptile back with cool ninja outfit and gear.

Yeah. I hope Reptile ditches the dinosaur look and has some better fatalities. I wasn't too impressed with his in MK9.

I need to revisit the game.

Even if they kept him reptilian but still in a cooler gear id be happy. Like this.

That's a billion times better then what we've been getting, I'd gladly welcome a design close to that.

As someone who always looks at renditions and artists work on deviantart, it's the best Reptile design I've ever seen.

Yeah...I thought he was a total beast movelist wise but his design is looking silly. His story hasn't gone anywhere.

Scorpion and SZ get all the love. They need to put their thinking caps on and make fans remember why he was such a big deal in mk2. Even if he was only a green pallet swipe.

I still remember my friend telling me how to fight him in the original MK. I thought he was a shifty knob telling me a dirty lie :lol. But as soon as I started fighting him at the bottom of the pit, I freaked out and he's been my favorite character ever since :lol

That was a train wreck. And his stupid crab fighting style. They screwed the poor guy.

I doubt his son, but probably related somehow. They wouldn't just throw that name around just because.

It seems that way: https://www.ign.com/wikis/mortal-kombat-10/Kotal_Kahn

Well, the Kahn "Can/Kan" termination is not unusual in Mayan deity names like:

Kukulkan
Cabrakan
UsuKan

So I keep thinking it would be weird for them to be related, given that Shao is a Chinese word and Kotal Kahn is supposed to be an Aztec Warrior, maybe it's got nothing to do with anything.

Had they spelt Kahn like those kans, I could maybe see it just being a coincidence. But the fact its spelt the same makes me think there is some connection, even if there is no relation. I mean, is Kahn just a title in the MK universe like Darth is in Star Wars? Kotal Kahn, Shao Kahn, Shang Kahn, Johnny Kahn, etc? Maybe Shao is just Kahn's first name and Kahn the title (the opposite of the Darth title)? I mean Cassie Cage is obviously related to Johnny, so they probably wouldn't be throwing around such a recognizable last name like that just for the heck of it.

And just because Kotal is Aztec inspired doesn't mean he is an actual Aztec, right? He's not one of the elder gods is he? Though they'll probably explain him off as some sort of god, likely an Aztec sacrificial god of some type base on his fatality.

You're right, they did say he's a kind of Aztec Warrior, they didn't say he literally was, but well, everything from his design to his fatality (which is clearly an Aztec sacrificial rite) show he is Aztec inspired, but I guess that doesn't mean much in the MK universe given how they really don't care for the Scorpion's Ninja lore and such, maybe everything is just aesthetic and I'm over thinking :lol

I like the Idea of Kahn being a title, but if I remember correctly, Kahn it's a German word for I don't know what, that pretty much settles that MK is a guacamole of cultural aesthetics :lol

Like with that fan art, keep him lizard like but with a human shape... and pretty close to his Ninja outfit roots and all will be right with the world. His MK9 outfit wasn't terrible, probably the next best thing next to his Ninja look IMO.
