Guys, what's F&S?

I think that might refer to Frank and Sons. Never been there but its some sort of event center where shops can sell their stuff. I heard people get some good deals there like $70 for a 1/4 scale NECA figure. I wonder if there is anything similar in NYC.

I got this yesterday and absolutely love it. The only problems I have on mine are a small dark spot on the chest armor and a splotch of excess paint on the batarang hand. I love how easy it is to move his joints. The Keaton ones that I have seem really tight and I'm afraid of breaking them when I move their legs. However this Batman's joints require much less force which makes posing him a lot easier. I steamed the cape to get rid of the wrinkles. I wish the cape was a little thicker because its easy to see through it if light passes behind it however for my display purpose I don't think it will be a problem.

Also a bonus shot, I got the second series Scalers in the mail with this. I'm actually impressed with how they look and I'm hoping they get to do a 89 batman eventually.

Ohhh :). Thanks! I vaguely remember my friend telling me about that convention.

HI
f&S is open Wed. 5-9pm and SATurday i think 9a.m. -3p.m. in the city of industry.
I havent been there in a long time, a lot of there stuff was way over priced, but occasionally you find good deals.

He looks terrific in your detolf, Sky_Captain. I would love to have that same pose if you don't mind.

Also, who made the cape? I hope you can share it with us. It looks great!
A chap called Richard Robinson, based in the UK.

I got in touch with him via one of the many Facebook figure groups. He's been doing 1/6 capes and this was the first 1/4 scale version.

It could be a smidge longer, but I'm quite happy with it.

Oh and feel free to swipe the pose. :)

Thank you very much, kind sir!

How do I post a pic in here?

Get yourself an account on Photobucket (its free, up to a certain storage limit).. upload pics.. then cut and paste the IMG code into your post on this forum.. you do not need to use the 'insert image' button from the forum post controls, as well as the IMG code, when you post.

Phew. Last one...maybe. I know different people check different threads and all that, so in going through and letting them know that shopdcentertainment.com is running a site wide promo for 13% off everything in store. They've got this guy for $104.36, along with free shipping, with the coupon code "DCFRIDAY13." They've also got a few HT releases (MOS Supes and Zod; 66 Bats and Robin), and the SSC Catwoman, along with the DCC Batman:TAS/TNBA figures for pre-order.

Finally got my Arkham Origins Batman last Saturday! Mine came with a few paint slops and poor cut lines here and there, as well as a spatter mark on the lower lip. Gave it a quick repaint last Sunday to remedy the paint issues-- removed the doll dot, darkened the 5 o' clock shadow and added some minor chipping effect on the gauntlets, shin guards and boots too. The cape's better than what I was expecting, but I might still try to look for a better fabric to replace it with.

Really happy with it. Now make Deathstroke, NECA!

The weathering adds so much to the figure. Good work man. :clap
